At least twice a year we stop here for this wonderful pizza after visiting St. Raymond’s Cemetery. It’s a thin crust pizza and it’s firm. Folds perfectly like a New York pizza should. Plenty of mozzarella and tomato sauce on an extra large slice.

Their food is always fresh, hot, and tasty. The staff is friendly, helpful with menu recommendations, and attentive. There’s nothing better than to come to a restaurant where you know the food will not disappoint and you get service with a smile! I also enjoy their ices when the warmer weather comes back. It’s not overly sweet and doesn’t have an artificial aftertaste. If you’re looking for reliable and delicious food, you’ve come to the right place!

I started coming to this pizza shop years back with my dad and siblings. We would always make him take us here because they have hands down the best chicken bacon ranch as well as buffalo pizza!!!! I live an hour away up north now but still have to find the time to eat some Loretta’s with my family. Anytime I want some slammin pizza and a nice chill spot to sit and eat I come here and make my friends try it too

UPDATE: 10/31/2023-THEY HAVE REDEEMED THEMSELVES. THE PIZZA IS NORMAL SIZE AGAIN AND THERE GARLIC KNOTS HAVE ACTUAL GARLIC ON THEM. I WILL BE BACK. 5 STARS LORETTAS PIZZA, OH AND THERE FOOD IS DELICIOUS……..When I first moved around the area, the pizza here was pretty good, they gave you a decent size slice, granted a little pricey, but hey I get it… but now that same pizza is like half the size and still about the same price… it’s about as small as the slices you get from dominos pizza… there garlic knots, is absolute trash, has no freaking garlic, it’s like they giving you a ball on dough. Needless to say I don’t go there anymore, I just order from another pizza shop, that actually has decent slices and actual garlic on there garlic knots…

Loretta’s was recommended by the savvy locals in Throgs Neck. Being from LES and Brooklyn, am accustomed to good pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The service was stellar. Appears to be a safe joint for writing. After sailing into Hammond Cove for winter berth, happy this joint is close enough. Unhappy I’m still sailing in Pelham however, if I can’t cast off before summer, will patronize Loretta’s. Highly recommend for this part of NYC.

My visit to Pizzeria Loretta was a delightful surprise. Right from the start, the service was top-notch: attentive staff and a cozy atmosphere. And the pizza? Sensational. The crust was just right, and the flavor was memorable. But what really captivated me was the Eggplant Rollatini. That’s a whole different story. Wow, I visited this place today after church and I am so happy I did. The grandma square and white slice I purchased was soooo darn delicious. The place is very clean, open space and just beautiful. There is outside sitting too to enjoy your treat. The employees are very attentive and friendly. I felt welcomed and as a valued customer. I will return more often.

Today was my first time here. My best friend is a fireman who services the area and recommended it to me. It didn’t disappoint. The pizza was superb, fresh, and with nice sized slices. The pizza was super flavorful and well balanced between sauce, cheese, and toppings. Best of all was the crust. It was just right and not super thick and doughy like most standard nyc pizza. It also wasn’t flimsy. I got the meat lovers slices, and it held up without breaking apart. I can’t wait to go back and try the other flavors.
