God awful pizza and terrible service. A friend and I initially checked reviews on google and with a whopping 4.0 stars we decided to give it a try. When we walked in we were not greeted we were met with a glazed eyed stare from two teenagers then a few seconds after they acknowledged our existence. We then chose our seats and the waitress coldly placed menus in front of us without saying anything and then walked away. She gave us water and didn’t ask us if we wanted anything else to drink, it took my friend to eyeball them and the drink fridge in order to finally catch her attention. She later brought the starter out and my friend had to ask her for an actual drink, she walked away without asking me if I had wanted one as well. The starter was a “Fried Garlic Bread” the bread looked like a savory fried dough substance that was bathing in oil, it was clearly undercooked and it was quite disgusting. Not only that the waitress had given us butter knives to cut it which was quite unsuccessful. After about 15 minutes our waitress brought out our pizzas, my friend had gotten a regular cheese and I had ordered the margarita pizza with prosciutto on it. At first glance my pizza looked soggy, the slices were uneven and huge and the pizza was dripping with sauce as if it was made of 10% tomatoes and 80% water. My pizza was nothing short of garbage and it was quite literally inedible. My friends pizza was fine, nonetheless the pizza was uneven and a complete mess. Overall this was an awful experience, I will not be coming back.

I am not a pizza snob. While I once visited the motherland to sample the al taglio menus of the old world and have cruised NYC for the best slices, I’ve also voluntarily ordered pizza at a place called “Burrito’s”, eaten at a Domino’s in Iowa, and have availed myself of dumpstered pizza. All that said, when you “stop for a slice,” there are certain cost-to-size-to-quality-to-time ratios that, from experience, probably define the upper and lower limits of your expected pizza experience. For both better and worse, Federal Hill Pizza marks itself as an outlier in every sense here.

Feast your eyes upon my proverbial slice: a sort-of novelty pizza dinghy for the waterfront crowd. It lives outside of G-d’s light, and therefore, outside of His love. It was $7 and took 20 minutes to prepare. However, it tasted good, and it was served to me by pleasant people working in my local shop. I have given it three stars. A larger pizza canoe (a pizza schooner, perhaps) for the same money, or a reduction in cost could easily net another star, but honestly, I think a more traditional/boring experience involving a pre-made pie with slices being sold from it would solve every issue here.

I’ve always been a fan of Federal Hill pizza. However, as of late there has been a decrease in quality control. Flavor is still there but lack of toppings and follow through of directions are not. I don’t mind paying $17 for a specialty pepperoni pizza but there needs to be an adequate amount of pepperoni. I ordered an Arthur ave pizza light sauce for my son. It didn’t have a lot of pepperoni, actually one slice had none and it had a glob of sauce instead. The other pizza I got was fine, again just not what it used to be.

Great Neapolitan style pizza. Perfect amount of cornicione. Sauce is basic and delicious. The tasty cheese on the margarita was a tad undercooked or too thick for the bake time. Bonus got to watch a movie being filmed outside.

Ordered large peperoni pizza. Showed up on time and pizza was raw, cold in the center, cheese not melted, peperoni soggy. Paid 35 dollars for this pizza. I asked for blue cheese was charged 1 dollar for a 2oz cup not even half full. 0 stars my pet rats even refuse to eat this.

Normally I LOVE this Margarita pizza. We order it every time we come here and every time it’s delicious except for tonight. Tonight, we ordered the same 16-inch pizza with extra cheese and had it delivered to the house about 5 minutes down the road from Federal Hill. I’m not certain why, but it was watery and cold. The taste was still phenomenal but for $27.00 we were hoping for our dream pizza we had always had from this place. The delivery guy was very nice and all in all I would recommend going here.

Tried Federal Hill Pizza for the first time. Strated off with a can of Wormtown called Blizzard of 78. Had their pizzaiolo, Eli make me one of their new pizzas called the Macellaio, which has sausage, bacon, pepperoni and prosciutto. Thought the pizza was very good overall. Had a nice cheese pull and just a little bit of flop. Pizza does have some puffy edges, but i did think the dough was a little bland. Still a very good overall taste. Not too greasy and felt it was well cooked with a nice leopard undercarriage. Cool staff and pizza came out quick. Parking was tough. Found a spot on a side street. Google 4, 7.75/10

Love their Pizza and I love their antipasto salad. The pizza is delicious and their prices are not that bad. There aren’t the pasta salad is excellent but that is kind of pricey I think there’s only one size and it’s like $18 I’m a girl on a budget so I can’t afford that with pizza so I usually only get one or the other. If you like beer they have tons of local beers.

For more than $20, I expect better. Ordered a pizza with spinach and peppers. Before the name change I had a delicious pizza. Tonight the bottom was burnt. There was maybe .5 cup sauce on the whole pie. It was basically a white pizza with a few patches of sauce. The spinach was frozen. If you want to sell premium pizza and charge premium prices you should use fresh ingredients. This is a hard pass. We will drive to Providence to get pizza. It will be worth it.

This is one of the top 5 pizzas I have ever had. I had the FHP meat Pizza with Italian sausage, Portuguese sausage, Pepperoni, and meatball. It was exceptional. Great crust, great sauce, great flavor. My wife had a pasta dish with chicken, broccoli, and pink sauce. I also had the fried Sicilian meatballs. It was an hour drive to get here and we will be returning.
