On our first day in Malaga, after visiting Pablo Picasso’s birthplace, we stumbled upon Leonardo, a combination of a trattoria and a pizzeria. We ordered five types of tapas and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. The restaurant’s ambiance is classic rustic, with wooden tables and red-and-white checkered tablecloths—everything was very tidy, clean, and cozy.
The gentleman who served us was a story in himself. Quiet, discreet, and unobtrusive, yet simultaneously present, helpful, and fast. On our last day, we decided to have dinner there and went back to Leonardo for pizza. It was a wonderful surprise—simply a perfect pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, and despite having plenty of toppings, it didn’t get soggy or fall apart.
Unpretentious yet perfect. A simple pizza, not a show for the superficial that requires ten exotic ingredients to be special. For anyone who enjoys eating well in a pleasant environment with great service and fair prices, Leonardo is one of the best choices in Malaga.

Great Italian food and very well presented . The price point is exceptional for the location, quality of food and service. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in Central Malaga, however I rate this as one of the best and the menu has something for everyone, if you can’t find a dish you like, then you are not hungry.

We spent two very enjoyable lunchtimes at this restaurant on our recent trip to malaga. Good tasty Italian food. Connoisseurs might prefer the pasta a bit more al dente, but it was ok by us. Service was helpful and friendly.., a relaxed atmosphere.., a nice place to escape some of the now all too touristy trappings of this city. We enjoyed it and will look to return next time we visit.

Lovely place! Visited twice while visiting Malaga. Very decent price, €13.50 for 3 course and a drink! I didn’t notice the first day that a dessert was included but my fault for not reading the menu properly. Highly recommend this place

We loved it here. It’s Amazingly tasty pizza. We found this place accidentally and it was the best decision. Love the atmosphere and the staff was really friendly. The price range is good as well, and that’s coming from 2 broke best friend’s hahaha.

Cheap frozen food – repackaged.
Nice serving, but this lasagna was just defrozen and cooked in a cheap tomato sauce. Almost no meat in this “bolognese” sauce. If I wanted a microwaved food, I would eat it at home. I know how it tastes.
