Padded booths line the walls of this venerable Italian joint specializing in pizza & pasta.

Tried the Pizza of the Month: Duck, Fennel & Fig – not really a fan of any of those, but trusted that it would be good. It was amazing! Lasagna was good. Service was so friendly and had a nice balance of being promot without being in your face.

You can tell the dough is made in house, light, and fluffy, crunchy crust! I ordered ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs… There sauce is just full of flavor and perfect. Yeah it’s subjective but in my world it’s a 5 star pizza. Love the crust and perfect blend of sauce and cheese. Toppings are excellent in quality. I love pizza and have tried many in New York and the Los Angeles area. Romas (both of them) is in the same league with the best of the best.

It’s a Saturday evening (11/4) and the family is hungry. This place is near our area and thought we’d give it a try. The restaurant is located in a weird spot and parking is a bit limited in the front and in the back shared by several businesses. We got lucky and grabbed one of the last parking spots when we arrived which was around 6pm or so. We were able to get a table no problem for a party of 7. The place and atmosphere is inviting and cozy a 5/5. Our server was great. Friendly, polite, and not overwhelming. We didn’t have to wait too long to get our food after placing our order, maybe within 15 minutes or so. So service is a definite 5/5. The food presentation is as good as any pizzas I’ve seen in other places so a 5/5. The pizza is heavier on the bread side though as others have said. I personally prefer my pizzas to have less bread and more toppings but it’s a personal preference. The taste was good for a local eatery here. Not over seasoned or over done either. Definitely enjoyable. Even though the taste did not disappoint, I’ve personally had much tastier pizzas elsewhere so I’d give the food a 4/5. It’s a different experience. We probably spent about $175 for the evening that included salad, beer, pizzas, and cannoli. Value to price ratio is about a 4/5 for a pizza dinner. Overall impression is a 4.5/5. Definitely recommend folks to give this place a try. It’s good food. The place gives out a good vibe, warmer feel, higher quality experience than your traditional Mountain Mikes or Round Table Pizza. Would definitely return. Find this review helpful? Give it a thumbs up below.

After picking up my flamethrower and all the gel canisters from Crazy Eight Eddy Bowers, the circus freak, I decided to hit up a taco joint I like out on the other side of Folsom Avenue. Just about halfway there, I came upon this unassuming little strip mall and decided to roll through it, and that’s when I spotted the Roma 2 Pizzeria and decided the tacos can wait….today it’s Pasta!
And… Pasta I got. It was amazing, just like being at grandma’s table, but without the drama. 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

I’ve been going to Roma’s #2 for three decades. It is hands down the best pizza in the Sacramento Valley. We travel from Dixon to eat there, no other pizza will do for me and my family. It’s pricey pizza but worth every penny! The pastas and other Italian dishes are delicious as well.

I don’t know how I never knew about this place, having lived here for 54 years! But this place is the best pizza place in Sacramento, in my humble opinion.
Great, thick crust, the cheese has the right stringiness and good quantity and the toppings are fresh and perfect proportion.
Great service as well. Family owned? Phenomenal!
