I have tried this establishment 4 times and now I’m leaving my final review. The pepper steak white rice and cabbage is good. I’ve had this twice and it was to my liking both times. Then I tried the curry chicken and it wasn’t as flavorful or properly seasoned as I would have expected. It was actually kind of spicy. I thought let me try something else next time. So yesterday I decided to try the Honey Glazed Salmon Rasta Pasta and a side of macaroni and cheese. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT the pasta was so spicy it tasted like they just dropped a jar of extra spicy jerk seasoning in some Alfredo sauce and sprinkled cheese on top! The salmon had absolutely NO seasoning. I was so upset, I wanted to scream because they have a No refund policy and I just spent $37 on an inedible dish. The macaroni was just greasy and cheesy with no flavor. I would recommend trying another establishment because they are overrated. I waited 40+ minutes just to be let down by the food and service. The standard of quality may be lacking as they are having trouble trying to keep up with the demand. Try them for yourself but make sure the expectations are low.

So, I finally made it to “KINGSTON 11” in Philly and, I have mixed feelings about it. I have to say the customer service was not the best at all.

2 hour wait and $35 for Jerk Fry General Tso and white rice is crazy. One and done for me, but try for yourselves. I didn’t taste much jerk flavouring but the Asian fusion is definitely there and it tasted good. I had the curry goat (medium/$16) which was pretty good. The meat was tender and the flavour was on point. The yams had way too much cinnamon.

Food is good the wait and prices need overhauling. First time coming here after seeing it all over Instagram and wanting to see what all hype was about. My daughter had tried to get into the lobby and she was told she had to wait because it was too many people inside already (Red flag number 1). Once finally inside there are no prices anywhere visible so my guess is they make up the prices every morning depending on inventory or possible financial needs (Your guess is as good as mine also red flag number 2). Normally when getting food from a Jamaican/Caribbean food restaurant Ox tails are the most expensive and salmon and shrimp are next in line price wise. We decided to order the jerk wing platter and salmon&shrimp combo platter. Immediately while taking the order the cashier in an aggravated tone let my daughter know the salmon&shrimp platter was 48.00 dollars by itself which my daughter rejected instantly, she was very turned off by that price and decided not to order anything (Red flag number 3). Since we traveled some ways to get there I decided not to leave empty handed and ordered the jerk sticky wing platter with Mac and yams it was 20.00 (Red flag number 4). It took 45 minutes from order to pickup for those 4 wings and 2 sides after waiting 20 minutes to get in (red flag number 5 since you have to pay for parking). The food is good and if you are wealthy and have nothing else to do that day give them a try.

I follow them on Instagram! Today, I’m scrolling, and SAW the pasta was THU DAY!!! LOL I’VE been dying to try the food! So today I went. I got there around 8:30 and it was a line. It was already people waiting. I ordered food, and it took about 45-50 minutes to be done. BUT BABBBBY This food is worth the wait price and drive! I’ll be back for all the other stuff on the menu!!

I’ve been following them on instagram for a hot minute! I’m so glad I finally went. The energy in there was so welcoming and the playlist was jamming. As far as the food it was excellent so bomb. The spices are on point and the Mac and cheese is pull apart melted. The food had to be made with love!! Mhmmm I’m for sure going back!

I recommend ordering ahead if you can because there’s a wait. The food, however, was delicious. It looks the same in person as it does on their social media.

Great amazing food just have to get there early; food tends to run out fast. Not your typical Jamaican spot it serves unique dishes that tastes awesome compared to others. Service was great for me but watched others complain about mix ups because of late arrivals… Ps. Must come in early…..
