The food options are subpar. I’ve been served wrong drinks, and it’s pricier than other options in the area. The bar/bouncers are confiscating IDs because they can’t read it, or the picture looks slightly different than the person in front of them. The owner always seems to be in opposition of other business using the common area because “they don’t pay rent” and then they loose money. It shouldn’t be a shock to him that the locals prefer cheaper alcohol, better food, and kinder staff.

This place has a pattern of continuously not letting Black women who are 21+ in because the bouncers and security apparently are unable to look at an ID and recognize when somebody is the same person as their photo. I know of multiple people whose REAL IDs have been confiscated because the bouncers are unable to do their jobs and verify when an ID is real. Take your business to another place that has actually has competent workers.

It seems that Longwell’s security doubting the authenticity of Black women’s IDs simply because they have different hair or makeup than their photo is becoming an increasing issue. This is especially concerning when these women’s real IDs are being confiscated and they are left with the responsibility of going and getting another real ID at the DMV. Are women supposed to have identification with every different hair and makeup look they own? Obviously not. Longwell’s bouncers need to learn how to match a person to their ID, whether or not they look 100% the same. On top of that, Longwell’s bouncers need to work on not being disrespectful and aggressive towards women in these and all situations.

Longwell is a sports bar where you see sports channels on big screens all around. There’s music station too which keeps your toes thumping to dance tunes. Beer and cocktails are good. Service is good to. It has a big open floor where you can dance, after a couple of drinks Longwell has outdoor seating as well.

They have a record of letting CHILDREN IN (minors)!! With fake ids. I would talk to so many of the underage girls and boys there. However, when actual ‘of age’ women come in, especially beautiful dark skin women, suddenly the bouncers think the Id is fake. 1+1≠5. I have also spoken to many of age women about this issue. Next is the bouncers charging random ludicrous prices for different groups of people. Some can get in for free, and others have to pay a fee. This can be seen with fair skin women getting in for free or for less of charge compared to dark skin women. Then theres multiple instances of the Lincoln police department not even verifying the Id but taking peoples words for it. Okkk . In conclusion, this establishment loves having CHILDREN in, bullies people for the color of their skin through price difference, and it seems like they genuinely don’t care.

I went to longwells last night and they had 3 bouncers look at my ID, it’s a florida license so of course it’s going to look different, they proceeded to bend my REAL ID and threaten to take it, I told them to call the cops if they’re so concerned about it being fake. And once they let us in they charged $5 entry for a nearly empty bar with around 10 people. I immediately left and did not get my money back, I’m never going here again unless I want to get harassed about my ID for 10 minutes outside of an empty bar.

I have connections at Longwells through some of their employees, and I have confirmed from a reliable source that Longwells does not let Black people, specifically Black women, enter the bar as consistently as they allow white people. The bouncers and security reject Black women claiming they look different than their IDs in order to maintain a quota of different races being permitted inside the bar. Take your business to another place that does not adhere to racist practices.

My family and I went to Longwells for the Drag Brunch and it was so much fun! The Longwells staff was very friendly and you could tell they were happy to be there. This was our first time there and we will be back! For those wanting to go, just know it’s cash only
