We absolutely love coming to Longhorn in McCandless, and that’s 100% because of Lei, our server. She is truly the best! From the very first visit, she listened carefully when we explained that my parents have health issues and it’s hard for them to sit too long. She remembered that, brings the check promptly without us ever needing to ask, and always makes sure my parents are comfortable getting in and out of their booth.
Lei is funny, kind, fast, and always accurate with our orders. She knows us now, remembers what we like, and goes out of her way to make dining here enjoyable and stress-free. The food at Longhorn is great, but honestly—we come back again and again because of Lei. She is a gem and an absolute asset to this restaurant.
We were celebrating my birthday and she even brought me a big ice cream sundae to celebrate!

My dining experience at LongHorn Steakhouse in North Hills was perfect! I am impressed with the service received. My waitress was so friendly and attentive! My table didn’t need for anything our entire meal. The food was delicious to say the least. Hot, fresh, and reasonably priced!!!

Me and my mom came here for lunch this morning and had one of the worst experiences in a restaurant we have had in a very long time. From the jump our server was all over the place. Which is strange being that the restaurant was not busy whatsoever. We had ordered our drinks and our server came back with them like 15 minutes later slammed the drinks down and threw the straws. Literally threw them. She had brought my mom the wrong soup and it had been atleast 20 minutes before she noticed. She ended up bringing out the correct soup and it was cold like it was sitting in the back the entire time. Our server did not check on us once the entire time we were in the restaurant. She would come near our table and say “you’re fine” and hurry away. We were trying to get her attention so we could get a manager but she would not come to our table just run past and say that we were fine. And once we had finally gotten the check cuz at this point we have been dealing with this for almost an hour we were met with nothing but attitude from the server. I would mention her name but I have no idea as she spent maybe 45 seconds at our table combined during the entirety of our meal, she was th server with the red hair.

The food is consistently prepared well, and the service ranges from good to excellent.
We usually don’t have a long wait (15-20 minutes is my experience), and I’ve never had anything approaching a “bad” steak here.
It’s also in a very nice shopping center, within eyesight of the Cinemark Theater.
For a “Dinner & a Movie” night, this is a great option.

Great place to get steak with the family. I love the dim lights. Makes for the best cozy vibes. The decorations are also extremely nice to adding to the vibes. Not only is it a great place to take the family, but to catch up with old friends.
