I am staying nearby for a while and decided to try this spot for lunch today. The man working was very nice, however the sub was very disappointing. I ordered the American sub which was supposed to be ham, cheese, LTO, peppers and black olives. The sub was thrown together with no onions, peppers or black olives. The bread is also quite dry. Kind of choked it down. Not worth $9 by any means. Subway would have been better. Maybe their pizza and hot food is good.

We love Italiano’s! The slices are huge and they never hold back on the cheese. We have been ordering delivery and coming in to eat for years. Portions are large and the french fries are always hot and crunchy. Waitresses are attentive and friendly, your drink never goes empty.

We truly enjoy the food here but tonight is a miss. Ordered a Calzone and when we opened the box, it seems it was left in the oven too long and had a burnt taste to it. I’m a bit surprised the kitchen didn’t remake it. Also the pizza looked like it was reheated and not fresh. Bummer!!!

A year later (literally) we ordered from here.
The food was even worse if possible. The toppings look as if they shifted on the pizza. The cheese bread wasn’t toasted and the cheese wasn’t even melted. I’ll never order here again ..

We ordered delivery on the evening of 6/8. Was very appreciative the driver called me when he arrived because I had a sign on my door about having a baby 🙂
Wish the bread on the cheesesteak was toasted, good flavor but needed to be toasted. Cheese bread disappointed me. The flavor was nice but it wasn’t very much compared to other places for $5. The pizza was pretty good

The best pizza around! Hands down! Beats Angelina’s & Tony’s in Deland & Nonna Maria’s in Debary! Italiano’s consistency is by far the best quality & always sets the bar high. They set the standard for an excellent pie @ a fair price! Anybody who complains about paying too much for pizza here should not be buying takeout. Loyal customer for 16+ years! Keep up the great work! Your staff is amazing despite dealing with sometimes difficult customers! My fav below, “Bianca” w/ pepperoni & sausage!

My husband and I were looking for a locally owned pizzeria in Deltona and came across Italiano’s New York Pizza on Google Maps. We wanted to support a cute mom-and-pop shop, and this place did not disappoint!
From the moment we pulled up, I could tell this place was special. The interior is beautifully updated, giving it a modern and welcoming vibe. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the sight of pizzas being made fresh behind the scenes, which adds to the authentic atmosphere. The entire place was spotless, including the bathrooms, which were in pristine condition.
We decided to stay and dine in, seating ourselves in the restaurant area. The setup is cozy, with TVs on the walls and a cute little window where you can watch your food being prepared. Our server was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, including keeping our Diet Cokes refilled without us having to ask.
We opted for the lunch special, which includes two slices of pizza and a soda. We added extra toppings—pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapenos—and the total was very reasonable. The pizza arrived quickly, and I was relieved that it tasted fresh and hot, not like it had been sitting out. The crust was perfectly buttered, and the homemade sauce was delicious, with visible tomato peels adding a nice touch of authenticity.
One of the highlights of our visit was meeting Matt, one of the partner owners. His passion for pizza is evident—he’s been in the business for over 30 years and still takes the time to greet every customer. He shared that he makes the dough and sauce from scratch, and you can really taste the difference.
If I had one tiny suggestion, it would be to use fresh jalapenos instead of the pickled ones, but that’s just my personal preference. Honestly, it’s hard to find anything to critique about this place. The service was quick (perfect for a lunch break), the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming with plenty of natural light.
For just $10, I got two delicious slices loaded with toppings, and they even provided extra marinara sauce and hot wing sauce for free. It’s a fantastic spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a sit-down meal. We’ll definitely be coming back!

By far the worse meatball parm I’ve ever eaten. Not sure why these places like to use Styrofoam but it was extremely soggy. Its not a openfaced sandwich, its a sub. Wasted money because even after putting it in the oven I threw it in the trash. Taste was horrible. I will say if we just ordered pizza it would have been 5 stars. It is the best pizza I’ve had around here. Kudos for that. Front counter girl was unpleasant. I could have walked out without paying and she wouldn’t have even known.

Went yo Italianos with my family for the first time. What an amazing experience. The food was delicious, staff amazing and so very clean. We ordered a side of meatballs, oh my delish, and a 22” Bianca and added fresh spinach and tomatoes. The pizza chef was nice enough to make it into a smiley face for my niece. We will definitely be back! This is my new go to pizza joint. I’m looking forward to eating my way through the menu.

Update 02-15-26 Easily in the top 3 comebacks by a restaurant I’ve sworn off and revisited. To be fair, I was at a friend’s place and he got it to say thanks for fixing a fuel injector on his BMW. So he ordered a peperoni and green pepper pizza and and an onion and pepperoni calzone. Both we absolutely amazing. I had just had, I mean literally 2 days prior, the other pizza place close to this one and there is no doubt Italiano’s is better imo. Better sauce, peperoni and BETTER CHEESE! The calzone was loaded! It was salty but in a savory and delicious way. Ricotta was rich and creamy. Just felt like real good quality cheese and the dough was absolutely perfect. We got pick up but the inside looked very nice. I will definitely be returning. I believe you will pay a little more here, but definitely worth every dollar.

The dough was thin on some slices and horribly thick on others. Cheese texture and taste felt cheap like a corporate place. Pepperoni wasn’t spread evenly, so one slice had 3 pieces while another had 10. Slighly overcooked, so burnt on the bottom and chewy.
