The food was fresh, and I hold it up to a high standards for a long john silvers, as 8 used to be an assistant manager for one. The tables could have been cleaned off, when there wasn’t any customers. As they all had something on them in on dining area. The young man was extremely nice, and attentive to the orders, and the cook she di very well in getting the orders out nice and freadh within a reasonable time. If your craving this particular food I’d suggest it based on the friendliness, and attentiveness. Plus if you like the crunchies like I do, they did a good job of have a nice bed inder the fish and chicken. Coleslaw was absolutely delicious as well. My husband is th pickets water in the planet, and I heard no complaints about the food.

We ordered online and saved $11, went through the drive through about five minutes later and our food was ready and everything was SUPER hot and delicious! We got an insane amount of food for $17. The people working were very friendly as well. So for fast food, they definitely deserve five stars!

This is the 2nd time I order food from here so I can pick up as it’s really close to me. The place is clean, customer service it’s great during the lunch hours. everyone there are kind. The food is fresh and they gave it o me when I arrived they did not had it on the window waiting to be picked up, seemed like the guy in the front a lady on the back were communicating perfectly. Now I would love to come in during dinner time see how it is, but so far i have like my experience here.

I placed an online order and came to pick it up. While the order was ready on time, the food was extremely disappointing and not fresh at all. I ordered fish and chips—the fish was poorly breaded, the potato waffle was cold, and the fish had an unpleasant, fishy smell. I ended up throwing the entire order away because it was inedible. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

First time here and we met some friends here for lunch. It was about noon when we showed up, you could tell they were swamped with the drive thru. There was one person working the counter and he was doing a great job. The food was great, that is the first time I’ve had Long John Silvers in a long time. The kids had burgers from AW and they were good. The place was clean and we will be going back when we are in the area.

Don’t go. Fresh fish and fries were soggy, coleslaw was half filled and dry, crunchy pieces were most of our meals left on the bottom. Hush puppies were hard as rocks and cut in half to make them more. We were told it was being made fresh but nothing was. Don’t waste a penny here….1st response online now to my review. 5/28/24, and the LJS website doesn’t exist. This company is TRASH….finally got a call from a manager who said they had a bad day and would refund if she was on site. NO apology. Evidently NOTHING was made to any standard that or other days.

Ordered again, timing was much better but they did not include any of the sauces. So eating my fish and clams plain. It sucks and I just can’t give them another chance. I tried last time but they didn’t respond (see their response last time). They just do not care.

Wife
My husband and I visited this restaurant last night and we both are now extremely sick. The public needs to be careful going here and don’t eat the fish or chicken. This is extremely serious; we are both so sick.

Excellent location in Olathe for this chain. Very nice and helpful staff, got all we ordered just right.
I had fish platter as did wifey. Fries were very good, highly recommended.
We also had a large order of cole slaw and brought some home for later.
Hush puppies are the greatest.
Wifey had her favorite, root beer float.

We have to drive over from Lawrence and it’s always worth the drive. The manager at this location is very friendly and cares about her customers and employees. It’s always a pleasure knowing you are still there working.
