Northbrook Brewing company offers a unique taproom experience for beer enthusiasts. The front taproom offers a warm and inviting space with handmade tables, custom bar, outdoor bar seating and patio. All with a view of the working Nickel Plate Express Train. The back taproom offers an open look into the inner workings of beer manufacturing along with seating for large groups. The back taproom also offers steel tipped darts, a pool table, and assortment of games brought in by the local patrons. With 12 taps of Northbrook beer there is always something new. There is a full kitchen offering great sandwiches, flatbreads, pretzels w/ cheese, and treats. Cheers!

I stopped by Northbrook one winter day to give them a try as I passed through the area. The staff was friendly and quick to take my order, and I think they made my sandwich too. It was kind of quiet afternoon for them, so there weren’t too many other customers, but the place was comfortable. There weren’t too many TVs playing the latest games, and the people who were there were having a good time. The beers were mostly solid, and I had no major complaints about them. The Jalopy was probably my favorite. I ordered the Troy sandwich (the monthly special) and it turned out to be really good. The mix of savory flavors and cheese with a little spice made for a really tasty sandwich. It struck me as a brewery worth visiting if you’re in the area and into craft beers.

What a fun place! Great assortment of beers from lagers, ipas, sours and stouts. Grab a flight and try a few of them. I went back for more. Simple food selections ranging from nachos and wings to sandwiches. The bread was crazy fresh and delicious. Quite a few TVs for game time. Modern and fun.

Was recommended to stop here by a couple at Guggman’s tap house on 46th. Stopped in just after 12 pm on a Saturday and had a great time chatting with Drew (one of the owners I think?) and several others sitting at the bar. Figaro was excellent. Didn’t try the food, but heard others say it’s very good. Under the radar and worth the trip!

We traveled from afar to visit Nortbrook and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by one of the owners and he talked about the beers they brewed. He then served us a delicious lunch. I had a roast beef sandwich and my wife had a sandwich with turkey, sliced apples and arugula.
I had mango strawberry sour and PB and banana porter. We will be back.

Really good beer, full flavors. Can’t wait to try all of their beers. The two we had were amazing. Darts, outdoor seating and outdoor bar. It’s a cool vibe.

Absolutely incredible atmosphere and fantastic selection of beer. We went for trivia night and loved how enthusiastic/friendly the owners and staff were. Can’t wait to be back.
