We had not been to a Long John Silvers in years and we were excited to go. We came later in the evening and ordered 2 fish and shrimp combos and a kids meal. The hush puppies were solid like rocks. The fish was so over fried it was solidified around the edges. The drink was the only thing that was good. By the time we actually got home and opened our food to find all this out we called the restaurant and nobody would answer. Since it was late and we were too far away to make it back before closing we figured we would call the next day since basically the entire order was thrown away. When calling the next day we were told since we didn’t come back that night they would not refund the order. Even after explaining that there was no way possible to make it back in time before closing, they refused to refund us. Will hopefully get this resolved soon, but please do not come here. We gave it a chance with some of the bad reviews and regret it so much. Maybe if the general manager had been more understanding we’d give it another chance. But just a terrible experience all around.

I was there for lunch 7/13/23. A very nice young man waited on me. He could see my hands were full so carried my tray and returned several time to ask if I needed anything else. Very courteous and polite. He’s a keeper. It’s hard to find young people willing to work and do such a good job. Always was busy not just standing around. Thank you for an enjoyable lunch time.

Took a very long time to get our food. The sweet tea was definitely not sweet. The food was mediocre at best. Fish was definitely overcooked. And it was $31. There are other establishments that I would spend that on before here again…

Sat in the drive-thru for about 10 minutes, then decided to go inside. Once inside I understood why the wait was so long. ONLY 3 employees working. It appeared that there was 1 cooking, 1 counter help & 1 other (manager maybe) that was working the drive-thru, putting those orders together & running the inside register. I can say they all earning every penny of their pay & then some. Folks please has some compassion & patience when visiting this establishment. Good help is hard to find (there was now hiring signs).

This place is a true mystery to how they’re still open… after paying the girl at the window I had asked for some ranch for my chicken and fries, what I get is some ale vinegar. Go in to ask for it after she said that had it and “yes sir” at the window they don’t carry ranch. Then the food is cold and soggy and the fish was dry and over cooked. On top of that the tacos we received only had shrimp and no coleslaw and the salmon either. We both got sick from it

I want to start off by saying big shoutout to LongJohn silvers in Longview Tx. I must say my day had a rough start but after a small mishap I was treated with much care and concern. In fact the team work together to correct my order and get me back on the road without missing a beat. I recommend the Super sampler because you’ll get a chance to enjoy almost everything this establishment has to offer in one platter.

We ordered meals with two sides and only received one side on both meals. The coleslaw was not put in the bag with the meals. Also the fish was mostly crust and the fish was hard and dry. Overcooked I guess.

I used to work there everybody was extremely nice as a family-owned business where they are finally tearing it down to remodeling finally cuz whenever covid started they had delay that for a few years now and now they’re having a chance to remodel and the time I work there everyone is cleaning the customers were very nice we did have the occasional customer who was extremely impatient and we try to give them their food but they just would not want their food for some particular reason even though it was right there in front of them

The person at register failed to speak or welcome us, acted irritated that we were studying the menu. I ordered a combo, 2 pieces of fish, 2 hush puppies, 1 side and drink was over $9. Hush puppies were hard and there were like 10 fries. I hadn’t been there for years and not one improvement has been made.
