I ordered a #12 chicken and fish platter and a large diet Mt. Dew. The menu board prices were $13.39 and $3.19. I was charged $14.19 and $3.49, so over by $1.19 including the 8.25% tax. Food was generously portioned, hot and fresh. Took about 25 minutes to prepare my order.

We happened to stop at this exit for gas while traveling I-55 and on impulse hit up the drive thru when we spotted it (we weren’t even hungry, but hadn’t been to an LJS in years because there aren’t any located near where we live LOL). It. Was. So. Good! We ordered chicken planks and hush puppies. LJS has the best hush puppies! Piping hot and delightfully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.

Went here 5:47pm order two combos #10 and papa burger combo, we got our order and found out there was no sauces or utensils so that’s annoying, food was good, the service was not at all great. Melissa was the cashier. Was sitting in the lobby not answering the headset. Kinda rude.

Ordered my food at 8:15. Paid cash. Was told to move to a parking spot. Didn’t get my food until 8:35, and that was AFTER I had to ask the people working where my order was. Glad I checked it before I left, because they didn’t even get the order correct… No hush puppies… Had to go back thru drive thru again to have them get it right, and by the time I got them, food was cold. Look, I’ve worked fast food. I know you’re trying to save clock time for the drive thru… But that was just plain dumb. And after all that aggravation, the only thing said to me was Sorry… Absolutely no incentive to come back. If I could give a no star review, I would. I’ll never go back there again.
