Since the closer of Long John Silver’s in Mt. Carmel I have been missing their food. So I decided to stop at their location in Princeton, Indiana. Definitely was not disappointed.

Went through the drive thru a few weeks ago around 7pm. They were not busy at all I was the only one there. There were only 2 employees doing anything that I could see. The girl cooking the food was using her bare hands picking up raw chicken, dipping it in the batter, and throwing it in the fryer. Neither of the workers had gloves on handling the food. After watching that catastrophe for 20 minutes the girl pretty well shoved my order at me through the window. I definitely won’t be back for long time.

The service was great. Couldn’t taste the food. It truthfully had no taste at all. How can you order salmon and it not have a taste or a smell.

There are a small hand full of people who keep this place open with there business, and I appreciate them still being open during this pandemic, from fish to grilled shrimp, everything is amazing, this store has very friendly staff, clean lobby, the dri thru can be slow, alot, but its all still freshly made to order so patience is key!

Alaskan Salmon on a bed of Rice, Coleslaw, Corn and of course I had to get a piece of Chicken on the side. All was hot and fresh as usual.

Was there today…it’s always cold in there. Took a long time to place order…took a while after ordering and when it was brought out, Waffle Fries were cold (not even warm). We are not cold natured at all, but it’s always cold there…A/C ran the whole time we were there.

My wife and I stopped by to eat lunch. By the time we got our drinks to set down. Are food was already at the table. We started to eat the food must have been setting for a while. It was cold we told lady it was cold and all she said was I’m sorry. Never offered to make it right. Cost 30 dollars for cold food. Where done will be going somewhere else in the future.

There was really nice people working when we went in. I hadn’t been to LJS in years. The food was better than expected. The green beans and coleslaw seem to have immensely improved over the years. The only grip is the outdated dining room. They are definitely in need of a simple remodel.

During the day this place is pretty awesome. Against my better judgment I went about 8:00 at night. My fries were cold, the fish was almost inedible, and I could only find about six clams that I added on. The young lady at the window asked me if I wanted sauces I said Seafood and she said I don’t know what that is do you mean cocktail sauce (very condescendingly)? I said yes please thank you. I will go to this place during the day but not at night.
