Myself and a few friends travel from The Lehigh valley to LJS once every few months… This was our first time at the Hamburg location. While I’ll say the restaurant in Pottsville is decorated to the 9s…. The gentleman at the register that took care of us made up for it. He was so pleasant and good at his job. Thank you Key!

Honestly I am not one to complain but what happened tonight while waiting for my food was unacceptable. I got to the store and placed my order at 5:48pm, granted it was busy inside and the drive thru was also busy but I waited almost 45 minutes to receive my food, that was after someone who order LJS after me asked what was taking so long and was told that they were waiting on chicken. Okay not a problem, other than the fact that someone who ordered after myself and this other woman got their chicken kids meal while we waited. The person on the line called the woman’s name for her food and received the 12 piece family meal that was supposed to be mine, after she took it out of the bag and touched all of the food that was in the box and complained because there was fish in her order and she ordered all chicken. Prompting the people on the line to make me another box (which was fine), however they threw away my other order of French fries which was included in my family meal. Other than the service the food was very good for the 50 dollars I paid for it.

I stopped for some deep fried vodka fish. Their pieces grew in size again to what they used to be. For awhile they had shrunk in size. That’s why I had stopped going there. Now, I’ll stop by more often. I love the crisp crunchy coating and flavor is so good on the fish. You get a couple hush puppies with the meal and a side. The kid that took my order didn’t ask me what he wanted. He just put in for waffle fries. They’re actually very good…..even better than Chicfil a.

They have the greatest chicken of any place. And the hush puppies are incredible. I can’t believe they closed in the Lehigh Valley. I can’t get there often because it is 2 hours away. PLEASE come back to Allentown or Quakertown. A combo KFC LJS would be incredible.

Waited a long time for our food. Some customers waited even longer than us. We all watched drive thru after drive thru order completed and us in the dining room waiting and waiting. No sign of management what so ever. 2 boys and girl on food line were carefree little girl was flirting and distracting the two boys rather than them all focused on completing our orders. A boy in the back half of the kitchen area mopped the same spot for over 20 mins. Only kid that was descent was the one who took our order at the front counter. This is not the first time I’ve waited this long for food I’ve waited 45 mins a prior time during lunch in the dining area and 25 minutes in the drive thru another time. Something needs to change in a big big way. Fast food is just that fast food. If we’re gonna lack efficiency and customer service we shouldn’t be paying anyone the wages we do. It’s a said said world in the restaurant business after Covid. No one cares and no one puts any effort or passion into their jobs anymore. We as a nation need to change this before it’s too far gone.

The staff were rude. They called the wrong number when my food was ready, and knew were dining in. They never once tried to figure out who’s it was , they just left it on the counter top. They didn’t include the sauce we needed, and when I asked the cashier she was rude. I never got my husband’s tatar sauce lol.

Terrible, bathrooms were the worst. Came out to order and just stood there on Saturday. No one ever came to the counter to help. I walked out. By the sign they are over priced. Whole experience in one it doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

We went to eat on wed.may 8,2024 food was terrible horrible,oil was not hot enough when they put are food in the deep fryer…a greasy mess dripping in oil.soggy mess.while the manager sat in the dining room with 2 other male employees being loud and obnoxious.never again!drove a hour in half cause there the only ljs around.we were looking forward to eating there .what a true disappointment.Also bought a side of shrimp tiny oil torn apart soaked shrimp… couldn’t believe it.whats a matter with your employee and the management.stop sitting in dining room and help and direct your employees.
