The chicken was so dry and inedible. Got three different sandwiches and salads, I couldn’t finish the food. I gave the sandwich to my dad to try because he loves sandwiches and I trust his judgement since he’s a chef and he said the chicken tasted like wood. Not a very good sandwich, didn’t look very pretty either, mixed green was wet and soggy, maybe went bad. The other sandwich I got was also mid, nothing special. Sad to write such a negative review since the reviews was what drew me in. Overall, pretty pricey, which I could get a refund, would not come back. 🙁

Awesome food and really great service. These guys know what they’re doing when it comes to food. We use them for catering and they never disappoint. It’s a must-stop place for breakfast or lunch if you’re anywhere in or around Long Beach.

The menu is great and there are quality ingredients/sauces. Unfortunately the customer service ruins the experience. Employees either don’t know the menu or don’t care to help, and the packaging the sandwiches vertically soaks the sandwiches lol

Simply an iconic deli in Long Beach! Gives off the traditional feels of what you expect to have at a Deli whether you’re getting a bacon, egg and cheese or a chicken cutlet with melted mozzarella with a little bit of balsamic glaze, This place simply does not miss!!

Will never go this place again. Second time they charged us for a sandwich that was not put in our order. When we realized the sandwich was missing we called so they can refund us for the sandwich that was missing. They stated it was made and will not refund the sandwich. When we left the store they said everything was in the bag. Plus they charged us a delivery fee for a pick up. Check your receipts!

Arthur Ave w/ cherry peppers. Literally the best sandwich Ive ever had. Admittedly I thought $15 for a sandwich was a bit much until I realized it was comically over 1 lb. I’m a big guy and I could not finish this for lunch.
A lot of comments where people complained about staff on the phone..it’s a sandwich shop. They take a lot of phone orders. They’re not being rude. If you don’t want to wait a few seconds they do sell boars head cold cuts in the grocery store.

We all got treated so well during our visit, the food was absolutely amazing, delicious, to die for. I had The Melt. Omg it was go good we all came from Brooklyn just to visit this place, and guess who took this awesome picture for us. The person that was so sweet and served us. Definitely going again
