Every time I go to Lone Star at this location, I am pleasantly surprised at the friendly service we receive. Doesn’t matter if it is an intimate date night, or a night out with kids. The servers are always willing to accommodate our requests with a smile.

Me, my husband and our 2 year old decided to go to Lone Star last night for dinner. We never eat there and we will never try to again, in fact we will probably tell everyone we know not to eat there. We were there last night January 2nd, 2015 around 5:40 they weren’t packed yet, we were third in line for a table, and got a table fast. We sat down and from there in was ALL down hill. My glass of water came in a filthy glass, we saw our waitress 3 times in the HOUR AND 15 MINUTES that we were there WAITING for our food,and 1 of the times she came to the table we had to ask another waitress if ours left!!! The manager came to our table (Without us asking for her) apologizing for the wait, we told her we weren’t going to wait anymore, that’s when we got our dinner…to go….for free but to be honest, we will feed it to our dogs for fear it’s been spit in (we watched the movie Waiting) The manager was really good, we felt bad for her because she had to walk around trying to cleanup the S#!& show. In the time that we were there we saw 1 table get up and leave because they hadn’t even received their drinks after waiting at least 30 minutes, the table next to us rarely saw their waitress, in fact they didn’t get service until we caught someone and then told them to take care of the people waiting longer than we had, and when they got their food, the Steak, at a steak house wasn’t even cooked right. The manager should get a raise everyone else should be FIRED. I can’t even rate this restaurant properly because the option of negative stars isn’t there. THIS PLACE SUCKS DON”T EAT THERE

Had another great experience at Lone Star. I had dinner with my son and the waitresses were very nice and patient. Our waitress took time with him to make sure he got the dinner he wanted. We had the Texas Rose for an appetizer. It was delicious. We had the ribs and they were falling off the bone. Nice country atmosphere. Very nice evening.

Had to ask for a booth…it was not offered by the lackadaisical employee. Waited 15 mins for decaf coffee. Waited 30 mins for appetizer that was part of the special….and then the appetizer was incorrect. Had to ask for soup that was part of the special…and then was some of the worst onion soup ever experienced…onions certainly not cooked properly. Recd well done steak when med rare was ordered. Drinks not refilled. Bacon wrapped steak ordered had no bacon. Waitress extremely inattentive. Manager very indecisive. Don’t know how they are still in business. Will never eat there again. Also not the cleanest place.

Driving to the Detroit area from Kalamazoo and we wanted a decent meal. We got seated and ordered quickly and we made it very clear that someone in our group had a severe allergy to tomatoes. WE got up to leave an hour later because we were hungry and still waiting for our food. We were almost out of the restaurant when we were stopped, our food was ready so we headed back to the table to ketchup sitting on the plate of the food ordered for the person with the tomato allergy. Turned around and left. Save yourself a headache and just go to Culvers across the street.

Horrible…the salmon was rancid so they took it back and when I ordered the shrimp it came out discolored. Everything is priced the same as Texas roadhouse, but not even close to the quality. Our waitress shot us dirty looks and avoided us. Will never eat there again. Hoping my family and I don’t get sick. One word to sum this place up- SAD.

Been served rancid steak 2 out of 3 times I’ve eaten there. Strong sour taste. Uneatable manager said they had reports of steaks not tasting right. Aged meat got a little to old or warm.

Texas Roadhouse was on an hour wait…really should have just waited…. Poor service, dated decor, bland steaks. The only thing I enjoyed was my bottle of beer. If I could rate it a half star I would. With Outback and now Texas Roadhouse down the road I doubt this place will last.

The waitress was very pleasant. However the food was horrible, the steak tasted spoiled and the ribs were like eating rubber. The place was very dirty and the women’s bathroom smelled like a dumpster.
