My husband and I chose to try this restaurant on 08/02/2014 for the first time. We are two people that do not mind spending a little money for GOOD FOOD & GOOD SERVICE. Well, food was good. Service SUCKED. That is too bad, because of the service we WILL NOT CHOOSE Lone Star Steakhouse as a place to go to enjoy a nice Steak dinner. I know it may sound silly, but there are certain things we base our dining experience on. Nice try Jamie Thor. Speaking of which, never once saw a manager to ask us how things were. Nice try. As far as the rating goes, strictly for the food. Because it would have gotten nothing.

Let me start out by saying that we have had dinner at this restaurant in years past, and have been happy with the meal and service. We usually eat here about once per year when visiting Cabela’s. This year, the first impression of the place was not good. Deteriorating parking area, untended landscaping with weeds everywhere was not attractive. Food was good, although somewhat expensive for what we received when it finally arrived after almost an hour. A waitress (we had 3 for some reason) told us there was a computer problem with our order that caused the delay. Meanwhile, an empty bread basket and 2 bread plates sat on our table the entire time, and not one of the waitresses appeared to notice. After seeing baskets of rolls being handed out at other tables, we finally asked if we could get some since we were really hungry, and only then did they bring them out. By then our meals had arrived.

Worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. We were a party of 5. The waiter pointed to the table he wanted us to sit at. My husband requested a different table, closer to the back. After we were seated a waiter named Matt came over to our table and literally threw the silverware and saucers on the table. He was very abrasive in his behavior and acted very angry. We all looked at each other surprised at his attitude. We ignored his behavior until it got worse. Then behind our table, (and I think this was the section we were suppose to be seated in) the other waitress was spraying something on the table and wiping the table down next to us. My sister back was to this table, she perked up and said she was getting wet from an over spray by this waitress. I looked back at the waitress and tried to inform her that she was spraying us but she ignored me.

It took a while to get our first round of drinks. We ordered the 2nd round when our salads were delivered. In fortunately, the drinks did not arrive until after we were done eating. The waiter did all he could, but the manager did not properly staff the bar. I do not recommend this branch.

The waitress was very nice and tried her best. The food and service was not worth the price that we paid. They forgot about our order and then proceeded to mess up the order when we finally got it. Bacon wrapped sirloin had no flavor at all and bacon was bland and raw. Would not recommend. Very very long wait time.

The server was knowledgeable and attentive. She managed our party of 16 really well. They allowed us to take up the back room so that we could be boisterous without affecting other diners. The only drawback was that my chicken was terribly dry and very tough. The chicken was difficult to cut even when using a steak knife. Some of the people in our party mentioned that their meals were not great not bad just ‘eh

Kids food and my steak salad were satisfactory, my wifes steak was overcooked the first time but great on the second round. Service was good, but the food took a little too long for my taste. Basically I would give 3.5 stars if I could, but 4 is too much. Its what I feel is “good enough” but mot great.

What a terrible experience. Ordered our drinks,and appetizers and meals.salads came first, finally appetizers.received refills as she reaches completely across our plates with her hair hanging down across our plates.next our meals my steak was raw sent it back ,came back 10 minutes later no change. They asked if they could take it back,now my husband is done with his meal.Manager comes out and says we will take this off the bill.no kidding.No rolls but an extra refill for the hubby as she reaches completely across his plate.never offered dessert,nobody sitting our row got rolls and I still had to pay for my ice tea.it sucked.

This restaurant is terrible There was a large party in a room off the main restaurant and that room had no heat. It was freezing in there and in order to improve it the staff opened the door to the main restaurant and proceeded to freeze out everyone in the vicinity. If I had been in that party I would have walked out the door. I don’t know how a business can treat their customers so badly. Plus there is always some lame excuse as to why the problem cant be fixed. In addition to the poor heat, the food was terrible.

My friend and I were excited to see a lone star still open as they closed the ones near us. We got there around 3:00 and the place was empty “great”, we thought as this means our food will get out quick, we could not have been more wrong. We ordered an appetizer and 45minutes later in finally showed up. Our meals took a half hour after the appetizer to show up and our drinks went empty numerous times and went unnoticed for a while. When the food finally came out we were on our 3rd server who just put the food down and walked away without saying a single word. The food was ok no complaints there. When it came time for the check a 4th server came with it and said she would be “right back” and 25 minutes later we were finding ourselves hunting her down to pay for our meal. I have never had such poor service in my life let alone so many different servers who were all equally horrible at their jobs. Keep in mind we got here at 3:00 a dead time for restaurants and this place was very empty. We were going to find a manager but he was busy talking to customers and being that we wasted over 2 hours at this place we just wanted to go home. I’m not the first review on this location to talk about poor service or more than one person serving us. Lone Star seems like a appropriate name because that’s all this location will get from my review, a lone star.
