The chips were really thick, comparable to Fritos as they were corn based. The salsa was good, but more of a sauce than salsa. The fish tacos were not good, the slaw was off and the beans on the taco dulled any flavor. Not the light & fresh fish tacos we were looking for. The birria tacos were okay. Pricey for just being okay. The seating outside was nice as they have twinkle lights. The staff was friendly and service was fast. We just weren’t thrilled about the food.

Really great unique and tasty food! The workers were super nice and helpful, and the food all came out hot and fresh. The quesabirria tacos were very good and so were the fish tacos and fried oyster tacos! The restaurant is pretty much counter service with seating inside and outside the restaurant. There are lots of great sides to split with your table that go above and beyond the classic taco sides. It is BYOB, so I recommend stopping across the street to pick up some drinks before heading in. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I wish I could say we enjoyed the food here, but for us, it seriously isn’t mexican food we’re used to eating. We ordered tacos. The beef taco almost looked like a chalupa or something like that my son gets from taco bell. Cheese was almost burnt on it and the taste was ‘different’ ..we couldn’t eat it. The fish tacos were a disappointment as well. Salsa was another taste we have never experienced. It was an exspensive $55 lunch that we didn’t enjoy.

Do yourself a favor and if you are in LBI (or heck, just go to LBI), stop by Lomito’s for Latin American Street Food!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Max the Owner/Chef and brains behind the operation along with his super friendly staff. There is passion in everything on that menu with some influences from his Chilean father! I highly recommend the Street Corn Quesadilla, Chicken Suiza, (both pictured) and Fish Al Pastor Tacos (eaten too quickly for a photo )!!! And of course grab a Horchata!!! If you want a fresh, non-spicy (altho they will add heat upon request) treat somewhat different than your usual tacos, this is the place to be!!!

How do you spell fresh…..Lomito. We sampled a few menu items and I can’t decide what was my favorite. They were all so delicious. Everything made to order, with the freshest ingredients. For a change of taste, I highly recommend.

Wildly overpriced and still here in late June not open until Thursdays. $17 for a QuesaBira. Zero side came with it. Not even some beans or fries. Took me 4 bites to finish it. For $17 I can go to Wawa and get a double meat full sized Hoagie, a large bag of Herrs chips and a 16oz snapple. No thanks

Wow is all I can say. I was visiting friends in LBI this weekend and they took me to this new restaurant for lunch. We ordered and shared the fries with dipping sauces, bean dip with chips, Fish Al Pastor and chicken tacos, and a delicious iced tea with a unique flavor. It was wonderful! Our order was delivered to our table promptly and the portions were very generous. Lomito has a great casual atmosphere and is in a very convenient location. I wish I lived closer – I would eat here all the time.
