I had combo 10, it tasted like minute rice, I got fish instead of chicken balls (chicken balls is what’s comes with combo 10) the sweet & sour (or red sauce) came super watery, and dark, tasted like vinager and water. The beef and broccoli was horrible .The beef was mushy and didn’t taste right and under cooked. & the broccoli was horribly cooked and still hard.
Everything was extremely flavorless…
My fiancee had the pad tai, it was flavorless with the same mushy beef that I had in my meal, and just flat out gross. He refused to eat It.
If you want good Chinese food, I highly recommend going to tai pan in Mattawa, or green appleicious in North bay.
The food is gross, definitely do not recommend loi’s Canton kitchen.
We will definitely not be ordering from there anymore. This meal went to the birds, and raccoons because it’s not fit for a person to eat.

Update, new owners
I had rice, wings, egg roll and sweet and sour spare ribs. Everything was good, hot and pretty similar. Friendlier service. Not sure why the new owners have gotten all these bad reviews. Maybe the first months was difficult when they first took over? I don’t know but it’s good. I’ll try some new things next time. Only thing is I would have liked my egg roll cooked a little more but it was still good and cooked. Will be back!
Usually pretty friendly, food is pretty consistent. Some of the better Chinese food around here including North bay. Always had everything I ordered. Delivery has always been good as well, when it was needed.

Food was ok went in at 630ish on a Saturday half the buffet was empty. Refilled very minimal for the time of day. The price was high. For half a buffet cost 70$ for 2 with no drinks. That is ridiculous for a buffet with 12 to 16 items on it. Bigger and better buffet places are that price with 50 items on it. First time there and last time ever.

Just moved to sturgeon falls from Toronto, thought we would try the Chinese food here.we ordered chicken balls, Cantonese chow mein(house style), Fried rice, and Pork with Broccoli. First off food is eatable, but very Blane. The rice is like parboiled and wet no flavour the pork with broccoli was ok the Cantonese chow mein was over cooked and the chicken balls at first I thought was fish, but then realized they must have been using the same oil fryer as they use for frying seafood. Will not order here again. The reviews on this board are mixed be weary of the 5 star positive reviews they are NOT accurate at all!

Might be the worst buffet I’ve ever been to. The waitress made me feel like we inconvenienced her for wanting water lol. The food was mediocre. Only the stuff just put out was hot, and everything kinda tasted the same, and not fresh. We were never asked once if we wanted a refill on our water. It’s too bad because the place actually looks pretty nice inside. The dessert was very limited and they didn’t offer fortune cookies or candies when we left.

Had takeout from Loi’s Canton Kitchen and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Portions were generous and the quality really stood out. I will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend this restaurant.

This is my fiancé, and I’s second time ordering from here, and the the food is amazing. We had the general tao’s the first time. I loved it, so we got it again. The spicieness is perfect. We had the wonton soup last time and again and oh, it’s so amazing. It’s full of wontons and the wontons are packed, with meat. We have no complaints with this this new restaurant. Their egg rolls are phenomenal. They are not salty, they’re flavorful, they’re crunchy, but edible, they’re not so crispy, that, you can’t chew them. We highly recommend this restaurant. We had the scallop veggie dish. Yum. They’re chicken soo gai is made with real chicken stock not store bought, you can taste the chicken in the gravy, and not salty, it was amazing. We’re so excited for their buffet to open. Thank you Celeste and team.

Ordered a Combo 6 and 12. In combo 6 The General Tao Chicken was without its usual bite,or spice and the chicken dry. In our combo 12 the shrimp were overcooked and on at least 1, unclean. Again the chicken was dry. My spouse, fond of sweet and sour shrimp, informed that the shrimp were inedible.
Not to gripe further but we had ordered via phone and arrived before it’s prepared time frame, providing the phone number assigned to the order. While sitting several bags were placed on the counter. One can only think “is that my order”? No one verified, but at least five minutes later someone bothered to check the bags and indeed one was ours. Very disappointed
