Another little gem of Peruvian cuisine in the neighborhood.
Affordable, good food, and great service. I tried the fish ceviche and my favorite dish: lomo saltado (stir-fried beef).
On my next visit, I’ll order a pisco sour and a dessert to recommend. The place is usually crowded, but I’ll definitely be back.

Surprisingly, in a city of so many great Peruvian restaurants, not many offer Pan con Chicharrón, a classic Peruvian weekend-type breakfast. What started with cravings for this seemingly rare delicacy (at least uncommon to Miami) started strong at Locura Marina and ended with two very happy bellies, now return customers.

Walking into the restaurant I was immediately transported to Paracas in my mind, a sleepy little fishing and tourist town on the southern coast of Peru. I can’t put my thumb on it, but something about the decor and the relaxed yet lively vibe took me there instantly.

They were very busy on a Sunday morning but seated us right away at one of the only available tables left. We ordered a “Desayuno Lurin” which is basically a “build your own” pan con chicharrón plate served with a tamal and then we ordered a standalone pan con chicharrón. We figured we’d split the tamal and both have a sandwich.

The waitress very kindly suggested we start with just the desayuno Lurin as it was quite large, then order an extra baguette to make two sandwiches. I love when the wait staff are looking out for you like that. Plus, she was right – it was huge! But aside from the size it was absolutely delectable.

Perfectly crispy pork that didn’t have too much fat, nice soft sweet potato, perfectly made sarsa criollo, and fresh baguette. And the tamal was absolutely perfect with succulent bits of chicken inside.

Omg we were in heaven and, by the end of it, stuffed! But we still made room for a lucuma tres leches, which I had never tried before, but ever the fan of tres leches I had no choice.

12/10 highly recommended!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Locura Marina. The menu features classic Peruvian dishes prepared with care — the ceviche was fresh and zesty, the lomo saltado was well-seasoned, and the portion sizes were generous. The staff were professional and friendly, helping with recommendations, and the restaurant had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Great for a casual dinner with friends or a special meal. Highly recommended for authentic Peruvian flavors.

Best Peruvian food on the beach. Great breakfast lunch and dinner specials. The place is always busy which is a testament to how good it is. Love the ceviche even have vegetarian ceviche. Menu is huge. Great papa huancaina can even get it on top of pasta. The staff never seem to change and they are always working. So they know the menu inside and out and they recognize you if you’re regular. Norma is my favorite. Good drinks menu decent amount of beer. If you like Peruvian it’s the place. It has everything.

Great food and service. The menu is so big. It was very hard to make a decision. Lots of food for the price. I would like to go back again and again to try different items on the menu but unfortunately we do not live close by.

In a city with exaggerated luxury and overpriced restaurants you find this place. Espectacular food, great pricing and great attention. I come here at least 2 times a month to enjoy their very good Peruvian food and their amazing ceviche. 100% recommended.

If you want the absolute best, most authentic Peruvian food in Miami, you come to North Beach and you go to Locura Marina. This place is the definition of a hidden gem—it’s cozy, unpretentious, and completely focused on the food. It feels like a neighborhood spot you’d find in Lima, not a tourist trap on Collins Ave.

Let’s talk about the Ceviche, because that’s the test of any Peruvian restaurant. I ordered the Ceviche Mixto, and the freshness was unbelievable. The fish was firm and cold, not chewy or “fishy” at all, and the leche de tigre (the lime marinade) had that perfect acidic kick that wakes you up immediately. It was spicy, tangy, and I found myself drinking the leftover juice at the bottom of the bowl—it’s that good.

We also ordered the Lomo Saltado to share. A lot of places mess this up by overcooking the meat or making the fries soggy, but Locura Marina nails it. The steak had that smoky wok flavor (that wok hei taste), the onions and tomatoes still had a bit of crunch, and the fries were perfect for soaking up the soy-based sauce. It’s pure comfort food.

Another standout was the Jalea (fried seafood platter). It was massive—crispy calamari, fish, and shrimp that wasn’t greasy at all, topped with the salsa criolla (lime-marinated onions) that cut through the richness perfectly.
We washed everything down with a pitcher of Chicha Morada. It wasn’t too sweet like the bottled stuff; it tasted homemade and refreshing, with a real hint of cinnamon and clove.

The service is warm and feels like family they are genuinely happy you are there. The prices are also super reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. If you are in North Beach, skipping this place would be a crime. It is hands down my favorite Peruvian spot in the city.
