Went during lunch on a Wednesday so only the bar side was open. That meant no low tables. Fine for me, but not for everyone. Waitress was really nice and helpful and graciously backed off of us since it was a working lunch. I’d absolutely go back. I’m certain my teenagers would like it too.

Very nice decor in the restaurant area. Had some appetizers mushrooms and cheese curds which were really good. I had the breaded pork tenderloin which was NOT good at all. Don’t overcook the food and serve it that way.

The name ‘LOCALS’ pretty much says it all. Do NOT bother to eat here if you are not a “local” – you will pretty much be totally ignored. I’m a patient and understanding person but over my many decades of dining out, I have never experienced service as bad as this restaurant. To say the service was “poor’ would be an understatement.. I will say the food, once it arrived for three of our table of four (4th person’s food arrived 20 minutes later), was good.

I will say the food was fine, but the service was absolutely horrible! We (party of four) were seated but was basicaly ignored the whole time. Had to flag down a waitress for drinks, to take our order, had to search for our own silverware. They brought three dinners out but had to wait 20 min for the fourth. Waitrss finally came over to apologize only to state she dropped the food. We asked for butter for potato ×2, to- go boxes x2 and the check x2. After waiting for quite awhile, we had to go to the station close to kitchen to get the check only to get a very snide response. I’m sorry to leave this, but was very sorry we had this experience!! Dinner was for my mother’s 90th Birthday.
