Great food. Pulled pork and chicken were excellent. Fries were great but are shoestring fries. Thin but perfectly cooked. BBQ on the menu includes Carolina and KC styles. The soda fountain has birch beer. Quite good.

First time there, my Son pick it out for his Birthday. Everything was great, the Chicken and the sliced Brisket was killer. And for a family of 4 the price was very reasonable. Definitely going back.

I have only 1 experience with this place. I met up with some friends for lunch and this was the location suggested. Nice place, clean. Staff were good and the food was good too. I would definitely come here again and recommend for others to come too.

Sometimes you just have to stop what you’re doing to be sure to tell a business that they’re doing it right!! Proper BBQ!! First visit today but have been anticipating for quite awhile. I love good bbq, especially ribs but hate them covered in a lacquered and sticky bbq sauce. I was apprehensive being in kind of the middle of nowhere in NJ (near where I live). Ribs were dry rubbed with just enough sweetness and the meat was perfectly juicy and came off the bone with ease! Flavor was of pork and not completely covered by sauce and spice! I got the vinegar based Carolina sauce on the side which I readily dipped into over and over again…nice tart vinegar tang, spice a tad of sweetness and celery seasoning on the finish. Sides were great too! Collars and Mac and cheese. Too dangerous that Local Smoke is local to me…you just gained a new regular!!

Came here three or four times but yesterday was the last time I’ll come. Chicken was old (like someone call the health inspector old) It smelled like it had gone bad, doused with seasoning and covered with bbq sauce. Brisket tasted like it came out of a bag from the grocery store. The green beans did not taste good and the corn bread was stale. I’m not saying not to eat here but I think they put their B team on the line on Sundays. I’d like to try again when this establishment shows care about their customers.

I bought a meat platter with pork ribs and pulled pork. The ribs with the bbq sauce were really tasty, meaty and good flavor. The pulled pork was plentiful but no real flavor, tasted plain. The red potatoes were good, again with the mc and cheese little flavor tastes mostly like butter. Also, a little pricey $28 dollars in my opinion. But that’s just me should be more a $20-23 plate.
