Had one of the best brunches here. We had the Chorizo Benedict and blueberry pancakes. Outside seating area is also a nice place to bring our dog. Will hopefully be back again soon to try dinner

Service was absolutely brilliant, great vibes especially the giant glass door at the entrance. I’d recommend just order pizza here, or from what I heard the burgers are decent too. However the shakshuka was quite a let down.. I’ve had a lot better in many other places in Europe. It felt like they just mixed the tomato and chickpeas and placed poached eggs on top.. lacking a lot of flavours and spiciness.

Stopped in here on a Sunday evening at the recommendation of our hotel. It did not disappoint! There is inside or outside seating. The drinks were impeccable! They have a wide variety of items on their menu. We had the Guinevere Pizza and it was so good! Tasty and filling! The service was the best we have had and everyone was so nice. I highly recommend stopping into this amazing restaurant!!

I’ve loved this place for years. Used to work at the Peet’s a block away (RIP 1st & Howard!) and Jeff, the general manager of Local, was a regular of mine. He’s such a warm and welcoming person. He encouraged me to visit the restaurant and I was hooked after my first experience. I used to go for their brunch, for which the prices are super reasonable for such tasty food and a great higher-end atmosphere. I now usually go for dinner, which is more expensive but still very much worth it. I’ve spent many birthdays here and I think it was for my 28th nearly ten years ago that Jeff let me book out the wine room, that room behind glass doors you see when you first walk in, without the spend minimum – I believe it holds 16. Very grateful for that. It was my favorite birthday of my 20s by far. They also have a more secluded area in the back for smaller parties which I’ve also used for more intimate dining experiences. Anyway, the food is great, love their pizzas, love their appetizers, their pasta dishes have been on point. I could go on! A favorite of mine in SF that I look forward to going to for years to come.

delicious food and a good selection of dishes. a little shabby place, the furniture is already tired, giant cobwebs and dust hang on the walls and ceiling. but the food in this place is amazing, I recommend trying rice balls with wild mushrooms and Funghi pizza. there is also a happy hour with nice prices for aperitizers.

Nice restaurant to have in our neighborhood. Tried their new menu (nov 2021) and the burger is delicious. It comes with a generous serving of fries and they give you both ketchup and mayo, the latter tasted like it was made in house. Usually I have to ask for mayo with my fries. Mushroom arancini is cheesy and super crunchy on the outside

Local SF is one of our favorite restaurants in the city! The food is incredible, and the service is even better. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you’re satisfied. I’m embarrassed to admit that we rarely explore other restaurants in the city, but Local satisfies all of our needs! 10/10 recommend.
