Was in Local Joe’s Albertville location for lunch. Really liked the outside appearance of the building very appealing. Went inside and it was even better. Clean , nicely decorated well lit and the tables were not all jammed together plenty of room. The hostess was very friendly and seated our party of 4 immediately. We were greeted right away by our server , she took our drink order and had them out right away. Gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. She was very knowledgeable of the menu items. Our food came out very fast. I had the smokehouse burger and thors , my wife and sister in law had the fish and baked potato and our friend had the special which was teriyaki chicken with vegetables and rice. They were all exactly as ordered and hot and very delicious. The prices were very fair. We will be back the next time we’re in Albertville. We were greeted on our way out by the manager or owner not sure which he was and asked if everything was good thanked us and shook my hand and asked us to come back
Thank you for a great meal and excellent service and atmosphere.

Single handedly the most soul filling and positive experience I have had since moving south from Minnesota! My husband and I were in town today for shopping as there was something here we needed. We stopped for lunch, not knowing anything about this restaurant shortly before noon today. The decor is very nice, the little store lovely, the restrooms nice and the server delightful. There was a football game on the big screen but I’m not a sports person so wasn’t really paying any attention to that. The sound also wasn’t deafening in there. Then noon happened! The national anthem was played! They retracted the big screen and there was a missing man table set on stage with a flag. Everyone stood for the song and when completed, returned to their meal. Thank you! Thank you for this experience! You all have made my year! God bless! Oh, and the food was good as well.

Top notch! Super Friendly folks. Laura was WONDERFUL! Felt really taken care of. Owner’s FIL was so kind too, like family. At noon the whole restaurant stood for the National anthem. Will make a trip to eat here! Felt magical – love the South!

This place is amazing! The food, service, and atmosphere were as close to perfect as possible. Bathrooms were clean and had scriptures on the walls. On the suggestion of our waitress, we enjoyed the turkey, potatoe salad, and I had green beans while my husband had the baked beans. The banana pudding was divine! This place is not one you want to miss!

Bottom line up front this is southern style comfort food. The atmosphere is definitely southern and patriotic. They have a have local goodies and crafts to buy in a small store section along with house made grab and go items. Food was alright maybe a touch bland and generic. Although everyone seemed to like the white bbq sauce. I had the wings and they scratched the itch for hot wings but barely. The baked beans weren’t that great either but the smoked sausage was nice. The service was very attentive and friendly. Menu is fairly broad and when you order there are definitely many options they will suggest you upgrade too. No alcohol but they have tea and coke products. One thing that was different at 6pm they played the national anthem and it was strongly encouraged for everyone to stand and salute the prominent flag in the room for the duration of the song. There is also a sign in one of my pictures about this. I love America too but I’ve never stopped dinner to play the anthem. Go if you want southern comfort food or just want to check out the atmosphere. Great place for kids.

Have ate at Local Joes many times and love their food. This afternoon my wife and I went in and were promptly seated. There were about four tables with patrons being served. After ten minutes and being passed by two servers numerous times we exited with no one asking why. Very disappointed.

We was taking a trip north from where we live. Decided to grab a bite to eat in Albertville. As we looked for a place, BOB was the taste we had. So we looked on Google to see what was available. Local Joe’s seemed like a good choice. We had not been there before, so we decide to give it a try. Boy was it the best choice of the day. The atmosphere was perfect, the food taste like it was home cooked. The hostess greeted us as we came in with a friendly smile. After sitting down our waitress came over quickly, also with a great smile. She took our order and we had our food in a matter of a few minutes. The manager came over and chatted with us and he too was extremely friendly… and a veteran to boot. We had no issues with anything while there. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking to get so really good food if you’re traveling through Albertville, Alabama. After paying, we was invited back to eat once again, but it didn’t feel like it was fake. It was real and that is always a plus for me. Everyone was genuine and real. One thing that was awesome… We was told that they play the National Anthem twice a day every day they are open. Once at 12pm and once at 6pm. We came back for the 6pm playing and we were not let down. When it started, everyone stood up and removed there hats and saluted the flag on the wall. Men, women, and children were very respectful and this alone made the restaurant my favorite eating establishment I’ve ever ate at. I’m looking forward to coming back as soon as I can. Do yourself a favor and show up for the food, for the atmosphere but most of all… For the people that make this place number one in my book.

Great bbq, ribs, loaded potato, and sides. They do the star spangled banner twice a day at 6pm for sure because it came on and everyone stood and sang. I think the waitress said at 12pm too. Very good waitress never let drinks get low. Will be back!

We love Local Joes! Whether it’s date night, breakfast with the girls, our church’s women luncheon, or watching a dinner show Local Joe’s never disappoints. Thursday nights are my favorite, they have the thin cut onion rings. The smoked turkey is so moist and flavorful, the colossal potatoes are huge and full of yummy goodness, and of course my daughter’s favorite is the loaded fries with pork & extra queso. The potatoes salad is delicious and they also have several flavors of yummy fried pies, homemade pork skins, and other treats that you might wanna grab to go since you will be full by the time you finish your meal. If you happen to be driving through town then I would definitely recommend you stop in and give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed. To top it off at the top of the hour at 12 & 6, they play the National Anthem. Mr. Floyd is such a sweet man & he would love to meet you.
