Things got off to an iffy start as everyone around us seemed angry at waiting for service or food. We were worried, but as the food came, the dissatisfaction with spotty service seemed canceled out by the impressive portions and delicious food. The place seems to be in transition of some sort as there are unused bar areas just sitting as eyesores. If they clean up the decor and iron out the flow it’s a five star place for sure.

After a wonderful day at Seaside playing games, winning prizes, experiencing rides and watching the future generation of “content creators” we decided to try our luck with a restaurant on boardwalk. Despite warning my wife that “all food on the boardwalk is garbage” she coorced me into trying out Lobster Dock, and boy-oh-boy did it not dissapoint!

Definitely a change since last year. I used to rave about this place but as of late, the food has gone down the drain. Maybe there are new chefs or owners but everything came out cold and the seafood did not seem fresh. For the price of their product, they need to be doing better or give a more reasonable price for the product you’re serving. Like I said maybe it’s a change in management or chefs, but a visible change since last season. Very disappointed.

We went as a family of four. We were sat outside which was very nice. The lobster roll was horrible and dry. My wife and I ordered on hot and one cold. Both were cold. Inedible. My son had a lobster which was cooked well. We asked the server for drawn butter, that never came. We will not be returning. You may have more success with difference meal choices.

My husband and I each enjoyed a lobster roll and a beer at the bar during an afternoon on the boardwalk. I’ve never had a better lobster roll! The bun was perfectly toasted and buttery, and packed with more lobster meat than I’ve ever had on a lobster roll. For $27, you can’t beat it….normally I can’t go without paying $30+ and there’s hardly any lobster. Well done guys!! It also comes with a heavy portion of skinny & crispy French fries (the best). I hardly made a dent. I asked for some ranch to dip them in and even the ranch was amazing!! Tasted homemade. Overall I was really impressed with this place.

We were told lobster was unavailable and couldn’t be ordered. Minutes after my party orders food that we didn’t plan on ordering the party on the other side of the bar has many plates full of lobster. Favoring and giving special privileges to customers. Food took hours to be served after ordered. Do not recommend this restaurant if your family likes lobster because you won’t get it.

Ordered takeout tonight for my family… everything was delicious!! The Dock Burger was perfection & so was the buttermilk chicken sandwich! Kids had the chicken tenders… they were HUGE & freshly made (not frozen). Highly recommend for a wonderful family dinner down the shore!!

Had the crab cake sandwich which was very very good and we also ordered raw bar items which we also thought was very good and fresh! Prices for raw bar was extremely reasonable considering location and quality. Wish they offered potato chips instead of fries and a potato salad option would be a nice edition to menu.

The Lobster “Flop”. Seems like there’s no direction or trained servers. I was one of few people there on a Monday night in July . I kept thinking we were about to be served and weren’t. Not many or any drink options for children, my son doesn’t like soda. No children’s menu. The food was Ok but overpriced for the whole experience when there are better places to eat. The ketchup at the table seemed rancid. When I asked for a box and check, it took 15 minutes … for no reason. The place is small, you can run and grab a box and check , then go back to the kitchen for another customers food. That’s not wise “multitasking”.

People where hard workers and the atmosphere will change as they build the resteraunt. But the food quality for the price was no good. There were six of us, not one person, who even came close to finishing half the meal. Hope the food gets better so they make it.
