Love this place! We drove 1.5 hours to try it out when we saw it on the news, and we weren’t disappointed. The service was excellent and the food delicious. There were so many unexpected choices on the menu it was difficult to decide. I had potato soup and sweet potato fries, my husband had a burger and fries. But we will definitely return to try other things, I’m looking forward to the Island-inspired specialties.

We’re exploring Prestonsburg cycling the rail trails. LOVED dinner at Lizzie B’s
We had a huli huli bowl with chicken and a salmon plate. Cheesecake for dessert.
Outdoor seating was extra nice on a mild summer evening.
Handicap parking next to the ramp and a variety of sandwiches, burgers, bowls and plates makes this restaurant a great choice for a multi-generational family dinner.

Nothing bad to say here. The whole dining experience was good from start to finish. And even though we thought the food would be good, it was even better than expected. Definitely will return again when passing through.

Went here on a date night, first time ever eating here. The menu has a Hawaiian theme. There is way to much on the menu in mho. I ordered the hamburger and it was 13 dollars and 3.75 more when I added fries which is way to much for what Ithose. But the Burger was good, fries are your typical fries. My wife got the loaded sweet potato fries and got chicken on it. The chicken was bland and tasted greasy so stick with the pork that it is suppose to come with. Be prepared to pay about 20 dollars per person when you include drink. Staff though was very friendly.

Quite a unique place. I had been to Lizzie B’s when it was more of the American style restaurant. But this was my first time going to it as the Hawaiian style restaurant. Food was pretty good but also expensive (imo). The decor in the restaurant had a nice touch to it.

Where do i start. Great service. Tasty different food. Microbrewery on site with local beer!. US23 brewing makes some tasty brews on par with anyone. A must try. At some point Albert (the Basset Hound that hangs outside) may get through the door. Enjoy it. No where else has an Albert.
Update 2023. Finally reopened after COVID close down and while a different service model ( you don’t really have full table service) the food is still wonderful and unique. They have Coke products and a very nice selection of craft beers on tap and bottled. The menu has changed but it is still the same theme, Hawaiian inspired.
The best item on their menu, and therefore the must try, is anything based around the pimento cheese. The Appetizer is as absolutely the best version of the dish I’ve had anywhere.
Uncertain if they still brew their own beer, didn’t see any of their products on tap but that may be coming.

My wife and I recently discovered this place, and it has become a favorite. The Hawaiian surfing theme creates a great atmosphere, and the food is delicious. I had the Haleiwa burger with sweet potato fries, and everything was cooked perfectly – fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent, very courteous, and helpful. They will answer any questions and give you helpful recommendations. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
