First time out-of-towner. What a great place. Something between a diner and a mom-n-pop atmosphere. Clearly a local favorite. 5 stars because the food was just right and the price just righter! Daily specials. We happened to be there Thursday and the entire menu was 10% off. If I lived here this would be my staple.

The food was pretty bland and didn’t have much flavor. I ordered chorizo and the plate was full of grease. Ordered the chopped steak but there wasn’t much flavor. Biscuits were yummy though! Overall it was alright service was alright. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing cause the food online looked great but ours not so much.

My nana and myself are from the area and decided to stop for lunch here, I had never been but she has once before and seemed to be the only time she liked it. She was disappointed in her breakfast a bit the hash browns were undercooked and very bland altogether. I had a BLT it was good, it was just a quick simple meal. Mediocre food in a mediocre town.

with summers arrival, i have been spending more time at my lake house on gull lake. i have heard good things about liz’s but they were all debunked when i was served. when i was seated, the first problem i want to address is our service. our waitress showed a lack of empathy and effort. she was extremely inattentive. my father asked a question, the waitress answered and immediately flipped around and walked away. leaving us all in complete shock as she never finished answering us. while the waitress isn’t the reason i am writing this review, it is important for me to talk about that before i get to the quality of food. my sister ordered oatmeal. the oatmeal came with a side of raisins, milk (that the waitress spilled and never refilled), and brown sugar. the brown sugar had a singular HAIR in it. my sister goes “oh there is a hair in my food” the waitress does not acknowledge her and simply walks away. to top this off, my other sisters food was cold. everything from the bacon, to the toast was cold,
