Came here for a late lunch (2pm), it was not busy. Was greeted immediately upon entering & seated right away. Tables are clean, I didn’t go to the restroom, but I think there’s one on back. They have a great menu, there’s lunch specials and daily specials. Had the agadashi tofu (no Bonito flakes for us), a Lion King roll, green salad (they need a salad spinner, a little watery), beef Teriyaki & tempura bento box, added a Cali roll & spicy tuna roll (these are discounted if you add them on, great deal!). They brought miso soup for us too. The food came out in good time, hot items were good temp, the Lion King roll was cut too thin, so it was falling apart & I couldn’t hold it correctly with the chopsticks. All the food was good in flavor. Staff is polite, made sure our drinks were full. Prices are average for the current economy. Check them out if you want sushi.

Very fresh and fast service. I was really impressed but the taste of the nigiri here. The servers are funny and down to clown a bit and enjoying the laughs. Very large selection of rolls as well. It took maybe 10 min for all the food we ordered to arrive, or less. And it wasn’t like the restaurant was empty, it was dinner and rush as well. Overall very impressed by Mad Fish

The list of sushi rolls was impressive, had to be at least 50 different styles (took me a while to figure out what to have). There’s a happy hour between 3-6p not everything on the menu just a few selected rolls and other items are available at 20% off but it’s dine in only. I had a Half Dragon & Half Rainbow Roll and the Crunchy Sweet Potato Roll. The Half and Half was quite nice, I particularly liked the Rainbow side more since it had tempura shrimp in the roll which added nice texture to the bite. The crunchy sweet potato roll was good but it felt like it was missing a spice component – I ordered a side of spicy Mayo and then Boom an explosion of flavor with the added sweet and crunch of the fried potato, Yum! Absolutely Fantastic!! I’m sure to come back soon!

It’s a cozy, clean, sleek set up. I’ve been there a few times and wish it were closer to work or home; if go more often. Each time I’ve been. I focused on the rolls. They are creative, lovely to look at and delicious to eat. A little bit pricey but they are so big. The service is fast and friendly. If you want to take your time and chat, that’s OK. If you’re in a hurry, they get you right thru. Really wish it was closer.

I had lunch with my girlfriend here . First time experience, the waiter greeted us with warm smiles the minute we walked in and apologized for the noise for the construction site . I had a Ramon combo ( seafood Ramon plus 8 piece roll) while my friend had a grilled salmon bento . The freshness , tenderness and quality of fish really amazed us , the portion was generous ! nowadays, you can easily spend 50+ dollars in Bay Area in a Japanese restaurant per person yet still feel hungry . This restaurant is a GEM ! Highly recommend! Our waiter/waitress were very young , yet super friendly and professional throughout the whole time , wow! Nice surprise in Fremont!

The food here is great, and there’s so much of it with its extensive menu, including a happy hour section where a number of rolls are a little cheaper. I think the service could be slightly better, but I’ll definitely be coming back
