Bang for your buck! Good affordable japanese food. Love their Wakame salad! Staff are courteous and nice. I forgot my reading glasses and they ran after me to the car to give it back. Place is open until 11pm on weekdays. They introduce new items on the menu from time to time. They have good lunch deals for under $20 on weekdays. A popular place so on peak hours, There’s a bit of a wait for a table.

I’ve been coming to Little Mad Fish for a while now and realized I’ve never left a review—so here it is! This place is consistently amazing in both food and service. The staff is incredibly attentive, greeting you as soon as you walk in and checking for available seating. If there’s a wait, they let you know right away, and honestly, it’s worth it—this place is busy for a reason!
We ordered the Spicy Seafood Ramen, Fire Dragon Roll, Bay Bridge Roll, Deep Fried Philadelphia Roll, and a Bento Box, along with a couple of drinks. Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The balance of flavors and quality of ingredients really stand out.
On top of that, the restaurant is always clean and spotless, making the dining experience even better. If you’re looking for one of the best Japanese restaurants in Redwood City, I highly recommend Little Mad Fish. You won’t be disappointed!

We love to do take out at Little Madfish, food is always delicious!!! Sadly today we decided to dine in, horrible customer service (female cashier), she rushed us to get the drink order, literally just took our food order and drop the check, never checked on us, didn’t even get near us( the back server provided a better and more professional service than her) please hire people with experience and not racist, it just felt like she didn’t care about us, ooooh but a white lady sitting in front of us (she was attentive, nice and talkative) take care of your “Latino” clients, we tip too!!!

My family and I love this place. Sushi rolls are a pretty good portion. Price is okay not too expensive. The only reason I give it 4 stars not 5 is because both of my last visit my orders have not been inputted correctly. Either they did not put it in or the pit the wrong roll in, other than that it good. I will definitely visit them again

We have eaten here a few times and always enjoy our experience. They don’t have the largest dining area so it can get crowded at times. The food is good and they have generous portion sizes. The prices are on the high side compared to some other similar places, so keep that in mind.

I live near by and I have enjoyed madfish for a long i highly recommend due to the friendly staff excellent customer service and location can get pretty busy but still well staffed as to crank out some amazing Sushi and even better bento box combo’s
