My family & I stopped here last night on our way back to Charlotte. We randomly selected this place while on the road and we were so glad we did because everything was excellent. You order your food at the front and pay, sit at a table and they bring it out to you. The food came out quickly and everything was hot and delicious. We had birria tacos & carne asada as well as agua de Jamaica and pepino con limón (cucumber lime & chia). The birria was flavorful, you get 4 tacos in your order & don’t be fooled by the size. At first I thought they looked a bit small, but they definitely did not skimp out on the meat and cheese, I couldn’t even finish all 4. The carne asada was a great portion, everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Even the tortillas were hand made and fresh. 10/10 recommend, sadly we don’t live close otherwise this would def. Be a staple for us. Loved it!

Taqueria Jalisco is hands down one of my favorite spots! The service is always friendly and fast, and the food is so delicious — you can truly taste how authentic everything is. Their aguas frescas are AMAZING and super refreshing (honestly I could drink them every day ). And let me just say… their menudo has a HOLD on me!! It’s full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and always hits the spot.
Highly recommend if you want real, authentic Mexican food and great service. I’ll definitely keep coming back!!!

I wish I could give them more stars! The service, the place and decor, the fact that you pay before eating, the quickness of the food even at rush hour, the price, the portion, THE FOOD ITSELF everything was absolutely perfect. We had the birria ramen, the chile rellenos, the red pozole, the birria and regular tacos and the pastor quesadilla and everything was delicious. We recommend the pepino and chia aguafresca, also they have caguamas! Wish I could move here just to have this food always.

Food was good . The Quesobirria tacos had good deep flavor with the sauce, posole was good. Quesadilla was good, carnitas burrito was also good. My only complaint was that the food was pretty pricy. Nearly everything was like $15 a plate and that seemed high to me.

I’m from Durham but recently moved to another city, and whenever I’m craving Spanish food, I always come back to this location. I’ve visited twice, and both times the food was great. I’ve even recommended it to others, and they’ve loved it too. My son also had some, and he absolutely loved it. The restaurant is very busy, so if you’re planning to try it, be prepared for a short wait unless you order online. It’s also very affordable. I’ll definitely be back to try something different next time.
