A great place for an Italian sub! We took a walk to Germantown to check out this deli and were not disappointed. A wide variety of hot and cold subs that comes with potato salad or chips. Sandwich is fresh and delicious! Portion is generous so glad that we decided to spilt 1 sandwich. Order as you enter, pick your seat indoor or outdoor and pick up at the window by the seating with your number. Also a cute section of gourmet Italian groceries.

The real deal for anyone craving authentic Italian vibes in Nashville—feels straight out of The Sopranos with all the imported goods and cozy deli energy. Their Antipasto Salad with crispy prosciutto was spot-on: fresh romaine loaded with banana peppers, olives, roasted peppers, rolled soppressata & provolone. Portions are generous, ingredients taste genuinely high-quality and imported, and the spicy vinaigrette ties it all together without overwhelming. If you love Italy or just solid Italian-American eats, this spot in Germantown is a must-try—I’ll definitely be back for more salads or a sandwich next time.
Highly recommend!

If you haven’t tried it you need to. It’s a great spot for food or if you need some great Italian cooking products. Personally I’m a fan of the spicy Italian, but I also buy a lot of the products to cook at home from here. I make Neapolitan pizzas with their dough, fresh sauce from the kitchen, and fresh grated mozzarella. My only complaint is the parking can suck sometimes but welcome to the city and a great place to eat.

After a long time, I had one of the best cold sandwiches here and it really stood out. The ingredients tasted super fresh, and everything was put together with a lot of care. The flavors were balanced and it didn’t feel heavy, just really satisfying. You can tell they pay attention to quality, which makes a big difference. The food overall felt fresh and well-prepared, and it’s definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving something simple but really good.

Lovely Gluten Free Hot Sandwiches on a cold Nashville day. Feels very authentic American Italian. Gluten free bread was delicious and the staff were very knowledgeable about their food.

Am I in Music City or New York City? A signed 8 x 10 of the Sopranos stared at me as I dove into deliciously fresh, steaming hot fried ravioli. The staff were very nice everybody eating was smiling as wide as the state of Tennessee. They have a full kitchen and they sell fresh pasta & pizzas to go make at home style. Great spot I’ll be back.

This is an update to my previous review. To their credit they responded to my initial review and made it right and invited us back with a gift card.

And it was a much better experience this time, the food was well executed and tasty. Though my pizza (the meats pizza) had a peculiar element to it that wasn’t mentioned on the menu. The ricotta, which is listed as a topping, was a sweet lemon ricotta which is not mentioned on the menu. I was expecting a savory spicy Italian pizza and got a pizza with add odd citrus sweetness that was not bad but just didn’t work.

It turns out it’s in the lasagna too, though not nearly as prominent.

All in all, it’s good but odd flavor combinations means we’re not likely to return.

Maybe we just caught them on a bad day but we expected better execution. My chicken parm sandwich was dry both because the chicken was overcooked and there was only a smear of marinara. My wife’s lasagna was soupy and my daughters spicy Italian sandwich had several sweet elements that were unexpected, along with bread sliced in a way that made the sandwich hard to eat.

Little Hats is such an adorable and fun spot to grab lunch or dinner. It’s located in Germantown by one of my favorite stores–The Golden Slipper.

The food is excellent. I had the meatball sandwich which could have easily fed two adults ($17). It comes with a delicious potato salad that I enjoyed. My friends had the Italian Sub and the Chicken Parm sandwich and they also loved their choices. We split an arrancini order. It was fresh, hot and really tasty.

I know a place is a winner if I immediately start planning when I can bring my hubby or kids to it.

We got there right at 11 on a Friday and were able to easily grab a table inside on a hot day. By the time we left at 12:30, it was packed inside and there were a lot of people outside on the great patio. It was just hot outside!

Just a side note: they have a parking lot that you can validate your parking for 90 minutes. There’s also street parking that’s free but hard to find.

Definitely go to Little Hats!

It was a wonderful casual Italian restaurant in Germantown. I ordered a hot sandwich with sausage, onions, and peppers. The portion was huge, and the filling was delicious. My friends ordered a fried eggplant sandwich and pasta. Personally, I preferred their sandwiches over the pasta. I hadn’t had Italian food in so long because I couldn’t find a place that suited my taste, but this sandwich made me fall in love with Italian food again.

I was very disappointed with the menu. Not very much to choose from. I ended up ordering a hot sandwich (Chicago Style Beef). The food was bland. However, my co-workers and I did enjoy the atmosphere and the customer service, but I do not think I will be returning.
