Dining at Little Duck Diner was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely excellent every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully prepared.
Eating outside made it even more special. Sitting there and enjoying the streets of Savannah adds something magical to the experience. Savannah is not a typical American city; it’s full of charm, history, and character, and that atmosphere makes the meal even more memorable.
The service was also outstanding friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.
A special mention goes to their tomato soup, which was simply spectacular. Sometimes the simplest dishes are the hardest to perfect, and they absolutely nailed it.
Highly recommended if you’re visiting Savannah.

Dining with Dirk: Wednesday First Edition
I found myself at the Little Duck Diner, where I was greeted warmly upon arrival and promptly shown to a table. The hostess brought water, and shortly thereafter Shay arrived to take my order.
I ordered a cup of joe and The Maxwell sandwich with bacon. The sandwich came almost too quick—but it came out hot from the kitchen, and I wasn’t mad about it at all.
The sandwich was great. The buttery glaze on the bun made it a slippery one to eat, but the sriracha base, fluffy eggs, and—duh—bacon more than made up for it.
Kudos to Aiden for an impromptu pop-in when he noticed my empty water glass. Shay also checked back and offered refills. I’ve always had good, better, and best experiences here, and this visit was no exception.

Jack was fantastic and the food was delicious!!

We ordered the duck grilled cheese, tomato soup, and the steak tacos and we loved all of it. The duck grilled cheese is an absolute must! This is a must stop in Savannah!

And please be sure to leave room for the tuxedo bomb cake because wow, that was really spectacular!

Jack, thank you for the great service!! We’ll be back!

Excellent restaurant disguised as a mere diner. Don’t let the name fool you: it’s much more than that. Yes, it has burgers and pancakes and eggs, but it also has excellent egg rolls (!) and some unusual sandwiches you wouldn’t expect.

EVERYTHING we’ve ordered here is high quality, from the chicken and waffles to the rice bowls. Our favorite waiter Jack could not have been more polite and helpful. He never batted an eye no matter request we made. Plus, he was wearing a t-shirt from a sister restaurant so we went there too, and it was great.

This place is very popular so you might have a bit of a wait depending on time of day. Great decor, no loud music, and they have dessert and milkshakes (but we were too full to try either).

We came on a Monday morning so it wasn’t busy. We got sat immediately and our food came out fast. The diner is absolutely beautiful, the wait staff couldn’t be nicer, and the food was so yummy. It is a tad pricey but everything downtown is. The strawberry lychee Bellini was so good and being able to keep the duck was a nice touch!

The atmosphere and staff is phenomenal. It’s so great to see happy employees who enjoy their work.

Food was great. The grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup is definitely worth trying. The shrimp risotto served on fried risotto was also excellent.

We were seated quickly inside for Sunday breakfast with an option to eat outside. My son used to work here and recommended Tomato Soup and grilled cheese as some of the best dishes offered. Soup didn’t disappoint and was rich & creamy with some red peppers and cheese & croutons giving it a delicious flavor and crunch factor. I had the California grilled cheese with chicken, pesto, avocado, mozzarella and havarti(I think) The bread was so good & buttery! Hubs had a sausage egg & cheese croissant, son had grilled cheese. Virgin Mango Bellini as it was Sunday morning and too early to add the Prosecco

In a town with so many options this was disappointing. My husband got the burger (it was over cooked), I got the club sandwich (it was okay not a traditional club with three layers) and my dad got a cup of tomato soup and grilled cheese. Hands down the fries were the best thing on anyone’s plate and dad said the soup was the best. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned but the place was overall clean. Not a highlight of the trip but also bit the worst.

This one’s a true find! The food was spectacular!! The service was slow but extremely professional and attentive. I thought during the time there – what is the rush!?! Service wanted us to slow down, relax and enjoy every second – so I still give 5 stars for that experience. The food I can’t say in words that would do it justice how good it was. Very high quality! The atmosphere was very nice, but quite small. Lots of mirrors – was looking at myself behind and beside by wife on the either side of me which was alittle distracting, but overall was a nice, clean environment. Definitely will be back!
