Ever since Pastore’s closed my husband has been looking for a good Italian cold cut sub. I learned about Lisa’s and decided to give it a try. My husband was very pleased. It was super stuffed with goodness. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

Voted “best Italian cold cut” by many, I had to try it to see if it lived up to the hype. It does!! Crusty, thick bread and the toppings are smothered perfectly together with the deli meat and cheese. Be warned that hots do make it pretty spicy if you want everything on it.

This place was recommended to me for a great sandwich which is exactly what I had a taste for! I walked in and had no idea what to order but the lady working there, who I think was the owner Lisa, told me the Italian coldcut was the most popular. I ordered it exactly the way it came. It was actually one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Italian coldcuts can be tricky to me bcuz you need to have a good ratio of meat vs fixings/toppings. This place got it right. It didn’t feel like one of those sandwiches where all you taste is meat. It was proportional and well made and very enjoyable. I could only eat half. I will be going back to try something else!

What a hidden gem and treat…probably one of the best Italian Cold Cut subs around this area. Ordered with “everything” including hots and I was pleasantly surprised at quality of meats. Homemade and fresh shrimp salad sandwich was also very good but I said to hold the Old Bay, that was my mistake so added Old Bay while eating 2nd half of sandwich. Will be back as service was friendly and excellent and sandwiches were made to order. Reasonably priced and parking in front of storefront.

This is one of the most amazing hidden gems in Pasadena!!!!! The sandwiches were beyond amazing! This was my first time at the shop and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! It felt like being home! The selection was fantastic and the quality of food is better than all the chains in the area! This just became my favorite sandwich shop and I beyond grateful for the exceptional food I had! The pastrami sandwich and the Italian sandwiches ordered were out of this world!!!!! Thank you to the amazing staff at Lisa’s deli for a great lunch today!! ❤️
