We were looking for soul food and found this place with it’s great reviews and decided to check it out for ourselves.
We were so pleased. My friend hummed as she enjoyed her collard greens, Mac and cheese and fried catfish. Our hostess was very attentive and helpful. She told us about the weekly special options ribs or meatloaf dinners.
She said that they bake their desserts on site and they sell out fast. I might go back another day for banana pudding cheesecake. Sounds delicious.
The food is great. The location is odd for someone who had never been before. There were signs pointing to parking around back.

Finally was able to visit and LOVED everything we got. The Meatloaf was excellent as well as the fried chicken. For sides we had mash potato’s, this southern style green beans (seasoned and soft) and their corn pudding. Ice tea was fresh and service was friendly. Definitely will be back!! Love finding gems like this!

Had dinner at Soul Sisters last night and the food was very good. I ordered the fried catfish, Mac n chz, green beans, chicken gizzards and corn pudding. Everything was served fairly quick,hot and well seasoned. Best Catfish ever. The gizzard were great flavor. The sides were all tasty. The restaurant appeared very clean and the staff had great customer service. I would highly recommend. Very reasonable prices also.

We came on a Saturday for a late lunch/early dinner. It was perfect timing because there was no crowd and the service was friendly and fast. However they were all sold out of collards by the time we got there. I opted for the fried pork chop with onion rings and Mac and cheese. Every last bite was delicious! My friend opted for the fried catfish, which she had on another occasion and loved it so she brought me to fall in love as well. We were so full that we didn’t get a chance to partake in any of the desserts or ice cream from next door. But we will definitely be back.

Tastes like grandma’s Sunday dinner. Absolutely amazing food and the sweetest service. I had the fried catfish Mac and cheese and green beans. Took me back in time. My daughter had the fried chicken and it was phenomenal. Thank you for making us feel at home and for the most delicious meal. The ice cream next door is equally impressive as well. THANK YOU!

I moved back home after 20 years and this was the 1st soul food place I went to. Almost cried over some mash potatoes and green beans because they tasted like my grandma’s . Definitely recommend and Cookie will be back to grub soon!! Rated and beyond ♀️
