This is a fantastic old-school hamburger place that provides a wonderful taste of the local culture. The menu is limited, but people don’t come here for variety, they come for absolutely killer burgers. Super friendly staff, cool ambience, and I love that it really reflects the area it is in. The building also has a cool history.

Lions Tap is one of my top favorite burgers in Minnesota. Their staff and service is the best and their food always comes fast and fresh. I have been here many times and I can say I never have received a food order that hasn’t came out perfect. My order is 1 – Single California Cheeseburger with Onions, 1 – Single Bacon Cheeseburger and Fries with, Ketchup, Mustard and Mayo.

Simple to the point kind of place. No fancy menus or special menus items. However, my burger was way way too salty. If that is not your thing make sure to ask your server for no it little additional seasoning. According to the server it is a common, legitimate and acceptable request.

Packed for lunch on a Friday at 1pm. The burger was good. Fries are extra cost. Food served on paper plates, not a lot of overhead there. Service was quick. Parking was overflowed. For the price, it was just ok.

One of the best burgers in town! The price point is great, the house lager is great. I ordered one of the bacon cheese and we had friends who ordered the double cheese burger, the cheese burger, and the California cheese burger. All of them tasted amazing! We ordered a second round because we wanted more! My recommendation would be to stick to the classics!

I love Lion’s Tap. Best burgers under $10 in the state. (Very occasionally when you ask for medium, they end up closer to rare, which is a little rough for a burger, but generally just perfect.) The upper Midwestern decor is also just right, and I always feel like I’m home when there, in the best possible way.
