Service was great! The food on the other hand wasnt even barley edible. Husband got soup and grilled cheese said to be homemade looked like throw up and taste about the same. Got a hotdog in place of the soup and it was rubbery and not fit for eating. Son got strips and fries no complaints there. I got bbq choped plate….highly dissapointed coming from a bbq joint. Came out and looked like it was floating in water I got napkins and soaked it all up and it was tasteless. Was going to bring it home to the dog. But the hubby didnt feel the dog would eat it either. The ladies were super nice and super attentive but the food was terrible

Went to try, was seen by at least 3-4 workers. Stood there for almost 10 minutes without a glance or an “I’ll be right with you” or a “can I help you” or any recognition at all. Finally some gal said “yes?” And I was so disheartened that I said, I couldn’t even be helped or recognized or anything so I’ll just leave… so upset I couldn’t even try to eat there. Was looking forward to try their fish or smoked or BBQ chicken… but couldn’t even be recognized that I was even there.

We happened upon this place on our way to Uhwarrie. It was like stepping into a BBQ restaurant from the 1960s. The sliced and chopped pork BBQ sandwiches were great. The onion rings and fried okra were fresh, hot, and perfectly done. The staff was friendly. The server was patient and polite. Lots of good vibes here!
