Delicious! The brisket sandwich took me back home to the south. An abundance of meat, great bark and the Memphis sauce was the perfect accompaniment. The onion rings were hot and crispy. The pickles tasted like my grandmother canned them herself. I appreciated the two gentlemen who took my order and prepared my meal, they were very hospitable. Definitely a good find.

Good stuff here! Myself and two others hit this place on a Sunday evening and were not disappointed. We all ordered the combo and got a variety of meats and sides. The pulled pork was good. The brisket was better than good. The smoked turkey, kielbasa and ribs were all excellent. The sides were above average all around. My favorite was the Everything Chili. The mac and cheese and collards were quite good as well.
Service was good and friendly. I liked the layout and atmosphere too. I would go back for sure.

In Texas, I’d rate the brisket a 3 for its lack of smokiness, but given we’re in Delaware, it’s passable. The saving grace was the mac and cheese, which was genuinely delicious—creamy, flavorful, and a crowd-pleaser.

Very disappointing. Service was subpar. Food was not hot and a little dried out. We went at lunchtime and it was not very busy. We were seated in the bar area. The booths were made from old bourbon barrels which was really cool. The bartender was our server. She was very preoccupied with talking to a young couple at the bar. I asked questions about items on the menu since this was my first time there. Her response was, oh it’s good. Everything I asked about, oh it’s good. Not very helpful. I asked about 2 different chicken sandwiches. She said, that one is a red sauce. The other is white. Would not recommend unless you were going for the booze. I believe they have live entertainment on weekend evenings. Greens were heavily vinegar based. Corn muffin was $4.00 extra. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone to bring me butter

I’ve been eating here for years and the quality has declined. My main food was cold when it arrived at the table. They did nicely attempt to fix the issue but it wasn’t much better. They have removed a lot of favorites from the menu like brisket rice and brussel sprouts and some that remain aren’t as flavorful. I ended up taking the majority of my meal home to season and heat properly.

The place is cool and the bartender was great. However, I ordered the combo of brisket and pulled pork to go at $10 per meat. I kid you not I get back, open the box, and it only has one slice of brisket. ONE. Not even an extra thick slice, just a regular ole’ slice for $10. I get that inflation hits everyone hard and to be fair maybe I’m just that far out of the loop of restaurant economics, but that was quite the shock to not even see a half-sandwich’s worth of brisket for a portion ordered off a dinner menu.

This is such a great find and we went early so there wasn’t a wait. The waitress was friendly, quick, & attentive. We ordered the Pimento Cheese Dip for an appetizer and the $75 meal which had ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage, chicken, & 5 sides. As a family of 4 we brought some home. The food came out super quick and at the right temperature. Definitely a place we will recommend and return too. I’ll say this much, our daughter doesn’t like meat very much but she absolutely devoured the pulled pork.

Brisket was delicious, they ask you of you want lean or fatty pieces and I went for the fatty ones. Also bbq sauce with bourbon was really really good. aLoved the chilli too. Service was great, staff was friendly.

The food here is phenomenal! Service is fast and efficient. The fries I think are a newer addition but they are delicious! Should definitely be advertised more. The burger stamp is also super cool and the bun was perfect. Beans were delicious and so were the potatoes. Burger was definitely the highlight of this meal. They know their way around meats! 10/10 would come here again!
