I had the Mahi Reuben which was more than I expected, incredibly delicious! The fish was fresh. And boasts so much flavor! I love the fries! My partner had the fried chicken sandwich and that was amazing! Perfect Crisp! The dirty rice was so good and the beans were delicious. The waitress was super nice, we were attended immediately as we came in. We decided to eat here bc off the reviews, and well they did not lie! Highly recommend this place and we will be coming here constantly. Also it’s definitely not pricey!

As an Italian looking for a mom and pop kind of place for a good American breakfast i can say, phenomenal place. Simple, nice and welcoming. Very good food, nice staff and quiet place.

Awesome pork bbq sandwich and the burgers are huge! Gotta get the sweet tea too and overall a perfect lunch, would definitely visit again especially with the delicious sides such as cornbread and rice & red beans.

Local country cooking diner with good portions. We knew it would be good based on the crowd here. They had reasonably quick service for a Saturday morning. We wanted a hearty breakfast after getting off our cruise. The country breakfast and chicken fried steak were delicious. Eggs done perfectly and biscuits so fluffy.
We had our luggage and they had a spot we could put it but don’t plan on having much space for that. They aren’t designed for post cruise traffic. Our luggage got in the way of waiting customers as it got busier.

Waitress took order and never came back. BBQ was a C+ at best. Chicken and ribs were both dry. House bbq sauce was good. Beans good. Applesauce from a jar for sure. Seasoned fries were ok. Bathrooms smelled dirty.

While gathering parts for my antique vehicles, I had the pleasure of revisiting Little Red’s in Fort Lauderdale, a restaurant that has truly stood the test of time. The moment I walked in, I immediately recognized the owner, Gino, whom I first met some 37 years ago. That alone speaks volumes.
Little Red’s has since moved to a newer location with much-needed expanded parking—an improvement that matches the restaurant’s continued growth and popularity. This busy diner serves excellent breakfast, lunch, and supper all day long, and it does so with remarkable consistency.
What truly stands out is the atmosphere Gino has cultivated. This restaurant caters to all walks of life—blue-collar workers from the nearby marine industry, police officers, business professionals in suits, and retirees—everyone welcomed, everyone well-fed, and everyone leaving satisfied. People come hungry and leave happy, and that kind of word-of-mouth is exactly why Little Red’s remains a staple in the Fort Lauderdale area.
The service is outstanding. Judy, my server, suggested the gyro steak pita, which was excellent—I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. It’s clear that employees are valued here; Judy has been with Little Red’s for over 10 years, which says everything about the work environment. Even the small details show thoughtful leadership—such as staff standing on wooden pallets instead of hard concrete in high-traffic areas to reduce fatigue. That kind of care doesn’t happen by accident.
Gino’s leadership shines through in every aspect of this restaurant—from the quality food and clean atmosphere to the loyal staff and fast, friendly service.
