We were welcomed with a champagne toast upon being seated such a beautiful touch to start our evening. The Beef Tartare appetizer was absolutely mouthwatering, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. I had the steak, my husband had the pork chop, and both dishes were cooked to perfection, rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated.
The bartender recommended a wine that paired perfectly with our meals, it was pure gold. And just when we thought the evening couldn’t get better, we were surprised with a complimentary dessert that was truly chef’s kiss.
Our hearts (and stomachs!) were full. We felt genuinely celebrated, and it meant the world to us. Leunig’s isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience filled with joy, care, and culinary excellence. We are so grateful for the memory and will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend!
The seating and setting are intimate and very mood enhancing. The dishes… Spectacular. For fine dining and overall quality the check was underpriced. And the waiters were super nice.
I also ordered the short rib poutine. This was phenomenal. Portion was great for the price also. I highly recommend Leunig’s Bistro for anyone visiting Burlington.
The food was good and so was the service but what I did not like was when I ordered a hot sauce they got me a bottle of hot sauce which was expired and opened since about more than a year.
That calls for a inspection may be.
We were there for Monday lunch. There was only 1 waiter and 1 bartender. We waited A WHILE before the waiter came to take our order. All we had were appetizers and kids meal so it came out fast because I felt other tables waited long for food as well.
Despite the wait, the food was actually good. We had lobster with salad, sliders, oysters and chicken tenders/fries(kid’s). All are flavorful and tender.
They breaded the lobster which was pleasantly good with lemons (like calamari). Oysters were cooked with garlic flavor. Great portion of chicken tenders, we all had some because they were really good.
Overall a busy restaurant at downtown area. Great food if you don’t mind to wait.
