Authentic German cuisine. Great German beer selection including NA options. And some imported sodas and grocery items. The sausage and cured meats deli selection looked great. Pastrami sandwich my fri nd got was amazing. Sauerkraut and bratwurst was great too

Great food, generous portions and fun place. The schnitzel sandwich is very good, I’ll look to try other items in later visits. The store section has a great variety of German offerings that will bring back memories if you’ve ever lived there or will be fun things to try if you’ve ever haven’t. The beer garden area was also nice with good selections. Customer service was also pretty good. Just a solid all around choice if you are craving a German fix!

Lived in Germany for 20 years, got the schnitzel sandwich. It’s schnitzel done right! Try it you’ll like it! Schnitzel had a bite taken before the pic.. my bad, had to taste first Was there again today, took the better half, she’s never had a schnitzel. She’s a happy camper

I was in town and decided to try this place out and happy I did. They make some great schnitzel and have nearly every beer in Germany in stock and a great top list as well. We’ll definitely try to go back before leaving town. They are also pet friendly.

I got the Schnitzel sandwich and it was so good (and huge)! The schnitzel was perfectly seasoned and not greasy or heavy at all in part I think because of the refreshing veggies that were paired with it in the sandwich. I was stuffed by the time I finished and took my small (it’s in the name, but still big) pretzel home with me. I also got the diet Sunset soda they had which is similar to an orange Coke and not bad, but I would just get a water next time since it was $3.99 for the drink.

Overall would recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Character, that’s what this place has. It looks like a German deli online but it was a bit of home for my German exchange student. German dishes with German beer on tap and in bottle that felt and tasted very authentic. Not crowded at any point ( l but I’m guessing they can get busy for lunch). They have take out beer and wine and a large selection of authentic chocolates, candies, mustards, pickles and so much more. Staff had smiles and worked well together. Food for our group of six came quickly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Experience Every Time

Das Alpenhaus Deli is hands-down one of the best spots around. The moment you walk in, you get hit with that warm, authentic European deli vibe — the smell of fresh bread, quality meats, and all the little imported goodies that make the place feel special. The food is always top-tier: sandwiches stacked perfectly, everything fresh, and portions that actually fill you up.

But honestly, what really makes this place stand out is the service.

There’s one employee in particular — the guy with the glasses and the funny crocs — who deserves a huge shoutout. Every time I’ve been in, he’s been incredibly helpful, friendly, and just genuinely good at his job. You can tell he takes pride in helping people and knows the menu like the back of his hand. Whether it’s recommending something new or double-checking an order, he goes above and beyond without ever making it feel forced.

Little things like his good energy, quick service, and even those goofy crocs make the whole experience memorable. Employees like him are exactly why places like this become regular go-tos.

If you haven’t been to Das Alpenhaus Deli yet, you’re missing out. Great food, great atmosphere, and stellar customer service. Easily a 5-star spot.

This is an incredible place for all things German! The currywurst was exactly what I was hoping for, with a delicious sauce. The grocery section has a nice variety of items too. I would highly recommend this deli to anyone!

Not a lot of good things to say. We ordered the pastrami sandwich and the schnitzel with the cordon Bleu add on which is ham and swiss. The pastrami was topped with Cole slaw which had no taste. Mediocre at best. The sandwich was just decent. Literally no taste. Very bland. Would not order again. The schnitzel came out looking like something huge. But after closer inspection the chicken was as thick as about 10 sheets of paper breaded. The bread was good. My son and I split both sandwiches. When I got my half of the schnitzel I thought we weren’t served the cordon Bleu. I went up to the counter and inquired and the gal pointed out that it was on the sandwich. I looked again and there was a tiny speck of ham and and a paper thin piece of cheese. She was right. My son didn’t taste the ham and cheese either. The flavor of the schnitzel was good. Lastly, we were charged eight dollars for two 12 Oz. Cans of soda. Not a real good value overall. Im glad I tried it. Won’t be back.

It is seldom that an experience outdoes the anticipation, especially when the length of time to the experience is significant, but in this case Das Alpenhaus did not disappoint!!

I had bratwurst on a stocky, crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside roll, with just the right amount of brownish mustard and house made, warmed sauerkraut.

The bratwurst was amazing!! None of the flavors in it were too much. It had some seasoning to it but also some sweetness, and the sauerkraut…amazing.

It has taken me YEARS to finally stop in, but now that I have I can’t wait to go back to try their Ruben as we as their Hot Pastrami sandwich and will keep going from there.

There are nice little tables inside, as well as on the porch, and some bigger picnic type tables inside with cool wooden chairs very typical of a traditional German pub, or whatever the word would be. There are also a number of other traditional deserts and breads and such in the shop.

The people working there are friendly and warm and obviously there to ensure you enjoy your visit.

Very glad I finally made the time and my stomach is extremely satisfied with the result!!

Prost
