We learnt the hard way that most restaurants are closed on a Sunday in France. The ones that are open are open for a very short time. We were on our way back to Calais and needed somewhere to eat and we found this place.
We are so pleased that we did! An excellent lunch in a very nice setting.
I had the chicken supreme with chorizo cream and it was delicious! The meringue dessert was absolutely incredible.
This is a great option for lunch when you’re in the area.

Awesome little bistro, open on a quiet Sunday which was not a given in the region. Great simple food with good ingredients. 2 person dinner + desserts 80€.

It was highly recommended, but closed the day I arrived ♂️ .
Abbeville is a great disappointment, rebuilt after the 2 wars I guess!!
But do drive along the South side of Le Somme River. Truly spectacular scenery en-route to Amiens .

Weve come to this restaurant for the last 3 years on our way home from our 2 weeks away as a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 young children. They are always so accommodating, staff are friendly, speak limited but enough English. The wine is fantastic and the food tastes brilliant. We look forward to it every year! It’s a quirky, authentic French restaurant that you dont want to miss!! We will be back next year!

Great old, no very old building, and as a restaurant it works well. The food that we picked was exceedingly good and, for France, the wine was good value. Give it a try if you are in Abbeville, I doubt that you will be disappointed

A very nice restaurant to visit and open on Sundays. We had an excellent lunch with gorgeous St Jaques scallops. We were looked after very well by the waiter.

It’s a pity you have to give a place stars. Beware that this restaurant is shut until October as they are on holiday.
Website and social media sites state it’s open which is incorrect.

Stopped because of reviews and it was worth it. Friendly staff (although they gave our deserts to another table, error they’ve quickly fixed :), interesting rustique location in a northern French town I’ve heard very little about.
