When we arrived during summer and fan ceiling wasn’t on and we asked to turn it on and waitress said sorry it wasn’t working good. And we saw we had to pay refills so my boyfriend was like no way, free refills replace broke fan during hot weather, he asked the waitress and finally someone turned the fan ceiling on. The food was awful. And everything was awful and it doesn’t feel like it’s Mexican restaurant since we have been to many different Mexican restaurants, this one is definitely not one of them. My boyfriend also quoted, “How the hell does this place get higher rating, I’ve been to a okay restaurant and they is way better than this place and this place’s price is NOT a reasonable price.” And he shuddered when thinking about this place.

This was the most traditional classic Mexican Diner I’ve visited in a long time. The food was good. The service was Excellent [super friendly, accommodating, but a bit opinionated when it came to food allergies/sensativities], Leo, however, was the consumate host.

We are from our of town so it totally have been just an off day. We came here because of high reviews. There were 3 of us. My husband LOVED the cheesey tostada. Looked pizza sized! I opted to take the suggestion that was given because they did not have chile rellenos. It was enchiladas with a different type of sauce. It was good. But just not my thing. Staff was so very friendly, I hate to leave a 3 on the food because I only had 1 item, however it wasn’t a favorite. I wouldn’t mind going back to try other food from here. I loved the atmosphere and like I said the staff was so friendly and welcoming.

Service was quick, food and plate were hot! Chips fresh, and salsa right on, and with a cold Coke eating out for lunch was a good idea.

First time here. I was craving Mexican food and actually stopped at Cafe Molina, but they’re now closed on Tuesdays, so I decided to try a new place.

Excellent Viva Villa plate with Leo’s special sauce on the chicken enchilada. Had not been in a long time and I was so pleased. Everything was so flavorful. Turned on some newbies to Leo’s and I’m sure they will go back!!

Not sure how this place has hundreds of 5 star reviews. Overpriced, gross food. To be honest, I ordered from here because I wanted a cheap burrito and Leo’s is right down the street. The website says the carne asada burrito is $6.75 but you can’t order online. Called in the order, burritos were $10.75

Very nice genuine Mexican establishment owned and operated by genuine Mexicans. Very friendly, attentive and efficient. Food is authentic so if you’re used to Americanized Mexican cuisine like we are you might not love everything here but well worth the experience!
