Lady didn’t ring up the side plate of brisket and before walking out we checked the order to see it wasn’t in the bag to be told they ran out and given the scraps for two sandwiches. The sauce saved it cause it was overly dry. Tasted like liquid smoke and not from the grill. Maybe add some cool coleslaw, onions and a pickle to really bring it up a notch and suffice for the price. Macaroni n Cheese was bland, Greens tasted like they’re out the can. The okra and baked potato salad were good. Love the nice crunch and seasoning on the Okra! In my opinion, the Banana Pudding was very sweet…I took 3 bites and couldn’t finish it. Must be a southern thing

We went to the Wilma Rudolph location. We were met at the window from the Owner. Super chill, nice and funny guy. Told us a secret that the breakfast tacos are all day. The tacos had flavor and wasn’t overloaded in sauce to make it messy. The tortillas were soft. Overall experience is 9.3/10

This was our first time to Legend’s Smokehouse. We figured we would give some new a try. Where it is located, it is easy to get I to from either direction, but leaving to the south may be a little slow. The parking lot was a little cumbersome, but nothing that really slowed us down. (They do need a canopy over the front door for rainy days.)

This would be my 2nd visit. I adore their brisket “dirty” tots plate. A little oversauced this time versus last, but nothing that took away from me eating it. I love the ambiance once you’re inside. My only complaint is not being greeted right away. However, once they realized I was there, they were wonderful.

Me and the hubby shared the Trinity.. we got no chips or scallions and extra cheese. 2 of us ate this and still had half of it left. Its huge! Only complaint was that the bbq sauce was super spicy.. I like spicy, but next time I’ll ask for it on the side!

They made sure none of the food contained eggs because I’m allergic, they did this twice to be extra sure.

Today, I decided to visit this establishment for lunch, and I wish I never went. I walked in and was not greeted so I grabbed a menu and took a seat at the window to give the menu consideration. I haven’t had BBQ in a while and was looking forward to the experience. When I was ready, I went back up to the register to order. I stood there for a while the staff moved along in the kitchen, so I made a little small talk with the older male cook about the weather. Eventually my order was taken, and I chopped up the lackadaisical reception due to it being a laid-back Sunday for this staff member (Jai). She was short and curt with me, but again, it’s Sunday and some people don’t enjoy working on weekends. So, I went back to the window seat to await my order. As other customers came, I noticed that they did not have to wait, in fact she (Jai) greeted them and made small talk, with every single one of them. As I sat and waited for my meal, she never addressed me or assured me of timing. So now, I am wondering why my experience is different than everyone else. Eventually, she came over and gave me my order and I asked her name. At this point I was just going to leave a review about the importance of continuity when it comes to customer service. She asked me “why I wanted to know her name, what’s the problem?” So now, I am shaken because I just asked her name, but given her tone, I think she knew that the service she provided me was less than ordinary and that I was going to make a complaint. She asked me what’s my problem, I explained my experience with the service. She was not receptive to what I was saying, but she asked me, so now I was confused at how things were escalating and began to look toward the kitchen for assistance. A young lady asked was everything okay, and I asked was she the manager, she said yes and came around to speak to me, I explained what happened, but the server continued to add side comments, neck rolls etc. which was very antagonizing. The manager apologized for her behavior and asked her to stop, when she didn’t, she asked her to leave the area. This staff member not only showed me no respect, but she also showed the manager very little respect as well. Maybe she is related to the owner, and that is why she felt that she could treat a customer this way. The manager asked me if I wanted anything as compensation for the experience and asked that I would give them another chance in the future and that (Jai) is at risk of a write up. I told her no thank you to an item and thanked her for her time. This is my very first one-star review of a restaurant. Sadly, this experience has tainted my perspective so much that I did not want the food. I may visit in the future, but it won’t be for a very long time if ever. Please train your staff to treat everyone that walks through your doors with a higher standard of customer service.

This is not BBQ. The wait staff is brand new (as of this morning) and the older newest person is training the younger newest person. My wife ordered “Burnt Heaven” but it was a trip to the other place you go when you are bad. Large, fatty, heavily sauced cubes of roast beef with a minimal touch of char. Sauce was good, but burnt ends it is not. The side of onion rings was sad. Chewy is not a good attribute for onion rings straight out of the fryer. Obviously cooked from frozen in stale cooking oil. The slaw was colorful and crisp, but there was a slight flavor in it I just couldn’t place. My three chicken tacos were very good! They had the aforementioned slaw as a component, but an application of their sauce from the bottle on the table fixed it. OK, staff is new which is OK because we made a point of telling the lady at the register this was our first visit. Our warning didn’t help much. We ordered and paid (and I joined their loyalty club). They handed us a number and we found a table. Well, we didn’t wait for our drinks (our bad) but when another server brought our order she didn’t bring our libations. My wife asked where they might be and the server told us to go back to the register to retrieve them. When my wife went to the register, she couldn’t have my beer because she wasn’t the one who ordered it. So, I went to the register to be carded. I paid a tip for service, so I have no idea why she just didn’t bring the drinks and card me at table side. Oh, and they were out of Bud Light today. Well, there’s no active supervision here. When we left, the most organized thing I saw was the smoke break in the parking lot next to the food truck. Hey, I know times may be tough, but the stuff I ordered wasn’t at a discount, either. At 12:30 pm on a Saturday (well, UT was playing LSU) you could fire a cannon through the store and not hit anyone. Gosh, it’s tough to run a restaurant and I wish them luck. No owner to be seen today. We won’t be back.

Go support this outstanding local business.I ate at the Riverside drive location with my family today. The owner was super cool and made sure we all enjoyed our meal and we did. Everyone ordered something different(party of 6), and we were all very impressed.I highly recommend the brisket. However they have a lot of different menu options. Our new favorite spot.
