Visited recently for a to go order. Some of the food was made fresh so it took a little under ten minutes which is understandable. I honestly expected worse after reading some of the other reviews. The service was great, the guy at the counter was nice and courteous. First time trying it so I decided to get a 3 entree plate to try different things. The spring rolls were good, i feel like if you’ve had spring rolls before and you like them, you won’t be let down. The orange chicken was good, with chunks of orange peel. This was one of the things I was weary of, as others had complained about it, but I liked it. I also had the sweet and sour pork. It’s just pork chunks with sweet and sour sauce. I don’t usually like sweet and sour sauce but tried it anyways. It was good, but I will not be having it again. My last entree was the crispy shrimp. It’s breaded shrimp with sweet peppers and onions in a sauce that I didn’t recognize. I didn’t particularly like that dish. My two main complaints, if you can call them that, are with the fried rice and the hot and sour soup. Firstly, the rice was cooked fine, had veggies and egg. It was the taste that was off for me. I’m not sure what sauce they used but it had an extremely smokey taste to it almost as if they used liquid smoke(its a sauce used for adding smoke flavor, hence the name). It wasn’t bad, just something I had never experienced before. Lastly, the hot and sour soup. I really like hot and sour soup, normally, but this one was missing both the spicy aspect, the umami aspect, and the sour aspect. It was more like an egg drop soup with tofu, green onions, and woodear mushrooms. Hot and sour soup as I know it usually also has chili pepper flakes, sour melon(also known as winter melon), and button mushrooms. The broth for their soup was pretty much clear and the one I usually get is more on the brown side. A quick and easy “fix” that I did was add dark soy sauce and chili pepper flakes and it truly helped a lot. Overall I had a good experience. The food was better than expected. Prices were fair. Just a few little gripes with the food itself. Oh, and the portions were fair, some people complained about portion sizes, but I didn’t have an issue with that.

My recent experience at Lee Kee Asian Kitchen in Palmview was nothing short of disappointing. I had high hopes for a delicious meal after the employee kindly recommended their General Tso’s Chicken and Sesame Chicken. However, what I received on my plate was far from appetizing. The first issue I encountered was the tough and chewy poultry in both dishes. It seemed like the chicken had been overcooked or was of poor quality, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. The texture was off-putting, and it felt like I was eating something that had been sitting out for too long. To add to the disappointment, the sauces on the chicken were incredibly watery and lacked any real flavor. General Tso’s Chicken is supposed to be a harmonious blend of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors, but what I got was a thin, watered-down sauce that didn’t do justice to the dish’s name. The Sesame Chicken suffered from the same issue, with a tasteless and diluted sauce that failed to impress. Although I appreciate the employee’s attempt to recommend their dishes, I couldn’t overlook the fact that the portion sizes were not as described. I was expecting generous servings, but what arrived on my plate was disappointingly small. I left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and still hungry, which is not what I expect from a dining experience. Additionally, I ordered the hot and sour soup, which turned out to be of very low quality. The soup lacked depth and richness, and the flavors were bland and unappealing. It felt like a cheap, watered-down version of what hot and sour soup should be.

Disappointed..serving size was not even a spoonful of food. They literally gave me 5 pieces of small general chicken and like 5 pieces of beef and broccoli. Do not waste your money! a whole bed of white rice to eat with what chicken! ‍♀️

Good size beef, generous portions, and good quality meat. The free soup was a bonus, very delicious. 10 out of 10!

Pretty good food. Wish they had more options however. Clean restaurant and doesn’t ever seem to be busy despite the food being good.

Great food, the portion sizes are a bit too large, but that’s never a bad thing in my book, also no fountain drinks

Fried rice noodles and sesame chicken were both delicious. It feels a bit like a panda fast food restaurant, but better than it does. The atmosphere is very good. I will go again.

Went to buy food there to try it since it’s a new place. First the girl serving had gloves on which is good but then goes and touches her hair with them so what’s the point of wearing them. The food was ok the rice was under cooked had some hard pieces & the fortune cookies seemed old they were not crunchy at ALL they were soggy & stale
