Family owned and operated since 1961, Lechugas has been located in the heart of North Denver for over 50 years. What originally began as Carbone’s bakery has evolved into an Italian Restaurant known statewide, for its original sausage canoli’s. Despite the change of scenery in the North Denver area over the last few years, Lechugas has kept the exact same recipes since day one making it a staple in the Denver community. Baking fresh food daily is the key to our success, so come on in and be a part of the tradition!

My first time here. I’m sure “in the day” or when they were offering service it was a relaxing place. Refills are self serve across the room. Tips are expected. (Not sure why) Pizza was on point, The kolache was a bit doughy. I won’t rush back, it’s not cheap food. AND I’d come back again. I wish it was staffed for full service.

Coming from the east coast is was important I find an italian resturant that reminded me of home. The sauce and meatballs here are fantastic. Sausage not so much and garlic bread could use more butter, but they arent dealbreakers.

You order at the counter, self serve drinks, wine in a can or beer in a can. 30 mintues for food, person drops of food with no eye contact, no words. never comes back. Tasted like school cafeteria food, Tip before you get served, sign on the table to clean up your own dishes. make your own decision, but we won’t waste our time and money here again
