Service was fantastic the cashier was friendly, personable and gave great recommendations. Most of us got the spanoli plate but with different insides. Canolis here are not what you’re thinking if you’re thinking dessert… nope, think italian sausage or meatballs inside fresh baked bread and topped with cheese and sauce! The spanoli plate also come with a side of spaghetti. Upcharge ($2.25)for old fashioned noodles. I think I preferred the old fashioned noodle but not necessarily enough to order them again. They have a steady stream of customers and plenty of regulars which is always a good sign. The canoli is the star of the show although I saw quite a few tables with the square pizza as well. The spaghetti was pretty basic so I’d skip that next time and just save room for more canoli!

This place is great. Good italian food for good prices. This is a busy area and the big plus is that they have a parking lot that makes it more convenient. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. I had a togo order and the service was great. They have great deals on the spaghetti buckets. 4 to 6 serving sizes that come with bread and salad. Both the sausage and meatballs tasted great, I also had a super sausage canoli, highly recommended item.

Lechuga’s Italian Restaurant is truly one of my favorite North Denver staples. Their sausage cannolis are always the highlight of my visit, the mild cannolis have that perfect classic, savory flavor, while the spicy ones bring just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Both are consistently delicious and made with so much care.

The staff is always incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive, and their customer service is genuinely some of the best. The location is great and easy to get in and out of, which makes the whole experience even better.

Overall, Lechuga’s continues to be a go-to spot for amazing food, friendly service, and a consistently great atmosphere.

Lechuga’s Italian Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warm, cozy atmosphere of a true neighborhood favorite. But the real star of the show? Their spicy spaghetti. Hands down, one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had.

The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the sauce has just the right amount of heat—bold, flavorful, and addictive without being overwhelming. You can taste the care in every bite, from the fresh garlic and herbs to the spicy kick that lingers just long enough to make you want more. Pair it with one of their legendary pepperonis or a warm loaf of garlic bread, and you’re in heaven.

The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the portions are generous. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Lechuga’s is a must-visit. Don’t miss the spicy spaghetti—you’ll be hooked from the first bite!

Food is true to its beginnings and had remained consistent in quality and taste over the years. Sausage canoli was so good I ordered 8 to go for later in the week! Sauce was spot on. Great place for Italian food!

I stopped in for a cannoli and I was expecting a dessert, but it was a savory cannoli with a really tasty sausage with just the right amount of spice

This is a cute little old-school Italian spot. While I think the food itself is pretty decent—nothing mind-blowing—the value is unbeatable.

You can get a giant “pasta bucket” packed with spaghetti, meatballs & sausage with sides of garlic bread & salad that feeds six people… all for around $40. Personally I preferred the original noodles as the “old fashioned” noodles were a bit thick. It’s the perfect place for a low-key group dinner, family night, or just when you want a ton of comforting food without spending much.

My first time here. I’m sure “in the day” or when they were offering service it was a relaxing place. Refills are self serve across the room. Tips are expected. (Not sure why) Pizza was on point, The kolache was a bit doughy. I won’t rush back, it’s not cheap food. AND I’d come back again. I wish it was staffed for full service.
