If you’re ready to have your taste buds blown away, this is the place.
From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by how elegant the establishment is. There’s plenty of seating and a good-sized, well-stocked bar that adds to the welcoming atmosphere.
We stopped in for brunch, and everything exceeded expectations. I ordered the bacon and eggs over easy with potatoes. My dad went with the vegetable omelet and potatoes, while my other two family members ordered the French toast, bacon, and eggs platter—and I couldn’t believe how much food came out.
My dish was cooked to perfection. The eggs were exactly over easy, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly—honestly, they tasted like something you’d expect from a five-star restaurant. My dad’s omelet was moist, generously loaded with vegetables, and absolutely amazing. He’s not usually a potato person, but the potatoes were so good he finished the entire plate. My cousin’s French toast platter was outstanding as well.
I was especially excited to try the coffee, and it did not disappoint—rich, flavorful, and piping hot. Everything was served fresh and warm. The service was just as impressive: our waiter was Johnny-on-the-spot, constantly checking in and always bringing a fresh, hot pot of coffee to top off our cups.
The menu is packed with amazing options, and I can’t wait to come back to try the meatloaf platter, chicken pot pie, salmon plate, and some of their fantastic desserts.
I highly recommend stopping by for a meal—you won’t be disappointed. Cheers!

Wow a real hidden gem. Wanted to try the breakfast pot pie and was pleasantly surprised at the size of potion and the flavors were on point. The presentation of the plate was one to brag over very well done. Hats off to the chef who I learned was the owner. The service was great until the end when we sat for a bit more than usual time with the finished plates on the table waiting for the check. This is one to mark as top five for favorite breakfast places.

My husband and I are both really great cooks so we rarely ever eat out because it often leads to disappointment or the feeling of I could have made that better at home. Well I can say that was not the case here! We absolutely loved our food! The portion sizes were great, prices reasonable and we recieved service from everyone. It was so fresh and everything was cooked perfectly we will definitely go again and be telling our friends and family!

My friend and I were going to grab mexican food tonight and catch up but she saw the menu to this place and insisted on trying it out, I was highly against it. In the past, I have never had french food I liked or anything memorable, I thought french food lacks flavor. But she always let’s me pick and she’s not as adventurous with trying different cusines, so I budged. Well to my surprise, it was really really good, I was torn between 3 other entrees but the super nice server suggested the cajun shrimp pasta and my friend picked the mahi. I also got the french onion soup that came with my entree and she had a salad. We were really impressed. Not only taste wise but portion size. We also shared the crème brûlée since we were full (forgot to take a picture). Everything was delicious and we will be back to try the other entrees we were looking at. Highly recommend this place, also it’s not just french, after seeing the listing on Google maps, it says creole, if she would had let with that, I wouldn’t had been against coming here lol. Anyways, the chef here is doing something right and I hope our experience brings more people in so this place stays open in this struggling economy because we have a few more plates to try lol

Le Rendez-Vous Cafe in Lake Elsinore strikes a wonderful balance between elegance and comfort. The French menu offers creative, flavorful dishes that are beautifully plated and generous in portion. The staff was attentive, and knowledgeable, with the owners often making an appearance at tables to ensure things are just right. With an open bar and various wines options. Overall, it’s a delightful local gem that raises the bar for dining in downtown Lake Elsinore.

Wow!!!! Lake Elsinore finally has fine dining it was unique and delicious. I have the orange roughi which was one of the specials for the night and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The butter sauce was divine! Lol they mentioned the weekend brunch and live music on Thursdays and I just can’t wait to come back!

Ahhhh-mazing! The atmosphere, hospitality, customer service, the FOOOD, everything is perfect. The owner is also the chef, which makes me have a deep appreciation for this establishment. The love he must pour into his restaurant is felt. Portions are excellent.

So my baby brought me to Le Rendez -Vous Cafe for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We came the day before Valentine’s Day so it wouldn’t be outrageously busy. We heard that there is a chef on site and we had to come try it out for ourselves. I ordered the beef stroganoff, which was very good. The one thing I love is how much sauce they put on the dish. My husband ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. He liked it, but said it could use a little bit more sauce and thickness to it. We had great service too! Our waiter explained all the dishes to us and even the specials. We will definitely be back to try their other dishes. It’s a great find and addition to Lake Elsinore, California.

Update,
My daughter and I had Sunday brunch at Le rendez-vous Café and it was amazing as always.
My daughter ordered the pancake combo which she liked and also ordered some eggs, bacon, and home fries on the side. I ordered the steak and eggs, which was phenomenal! We also ordered a flight of mimosas. We got strawberry mango and blueberry. They were all good. If you get a chance, try their Sunday brunch it’s worth the drive.
