Le Provençal Restaurant has been serving authentic French cuisine in Coral Gables since 1988. In late 2017 the restaurant was forced to close to effect repairs after damage from hurricane Irma. In 2018 the restaurant reopened after an extensive renovation. Le Provençal is a modern ode to the past, an enticing vision that combines local flavors with traditional savoir-faire. We serve only the finest Provençal cuisine inspired by the French Mediterranean coast and its neighboring regions. Our chefs carefully select the freshest local ingredients to provide you with the most authentic culinary experience outside of Provence. Our wine list reflects an approach to wines that matter, straight from the producers.

On Sunday March 17th, 2019 I celebrated a special birthday with a brunch for 10 people in this restaurant. It was awesome! The manager, Mr. Carlos Duarte, helped me design a special menu for the event. The items were all so good, my guests were having a hard time deciding what to order. The food, the service, the ambiance, the attention to details, all were a perfect 10! We were given a special area towards the back which almost felt like a private room for us. It was memorable for me, and I cannot thank Carlos and all the staff enough for a most pleasant memory.

Le Provençale is the place to go for excellent french cuisine in Miami. My wife and I have been here a few times and everytime we have experienced a great service, nice wine selection and of course delicious dishes. We strongly recommend the prawns and the steak from their menu.

This is probably the best French restaurant in Coral Gables, period. Their food is absolutely delicious and the customer service is by far the best in the neighborhood. I think the music playlist could use a better selection but it suits the ambience. Stephan was our server for brunch and he is not only well-mannered but extremely handsome. My mother gave him plenty of compliments about the exquisite food and his clean demeanor. We were completely full after the dessert and satisfied, nonetheless.

Very nice place. Food is excellent. It was cool so we choose inside seating but outdoor is also available. Was a slow night but service was quite prompt without rushing. Prix-fixe was a good value, too.

It is very consistent. The food and the cocktail are always good. If you have been there before, they will recognize you. It is pleasant to sit outside and watch people walk by. Located right on Miracle Mile, it is worth a stop.

We love this place! The staff (including the owner) were delightful and so friendly it felt like family. My husband & I eloped and had our wedding dinner here. Everything was so excellant we returned for lunch on our last day & had to stay over another night because the food & wine (& servers) were so delightful…We can’t wait for our next visit!

I was so impressed to find this restaurant in Coral Gables, so refreshing! Amazing food… loved the delicacy of the ingredients. I had the salmon filet, the burrata, and the most delicious truffle fries. Even the espresso had the perfect crema on top!.. Well worth a try if you are in the area or are simply looking for a quality meal. Carlos and his staff were wonderful.

Took a close friend, around mid-June 2014, who’s lives in this region of France, for dinner and she said it was her new found refuge away from home. She mentioned the French bread and food was done perfect. Only criticism was that the French bread was missing a slightly salty taste, but I figure it’snot present because everyone in the States is so health conscious it would turn folks off. Who knows, I’m no restaurant expert. I enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and most importantly the company.
