Adorable little spot for coffee and matcha I had the egg cream iced coffee (available only on weekends) and it was outstanding! Just the right amount of sweetness and rich flavor. The matcha was only very rich and authentic tasting in flavor without too much sweetness or syrup. They also have a few types of cakes and pastries. Highly recommend!

I liked the pandan latte!! Didn’t knock my socks off but it was good. Honestly, could go heavier on the pandan.
Laptop friendly which is nice! It’s a small space so everyone waiting for drinks is kinda packed in there.
Seems to attract a tech-y crowd? I heard a lot of “Palantir VC Claude code” around me lol.

The space was cosy and perfect for a coffee and a good book. The pandan latte had a subtle, authentic pandan flavour and the honeycomb cake was interesting. While it tasted authentic to a Vietnamese person, it might not suit everyone’s taste. The highlight of the shop was the friendly and sweet hospitality from the owner and staff.

I really love this cafe! It’s an amazing place with this incredibly cozy ambiance. Everyone here is welcoming, friendly and kind. I had their pandan latte and it’s by far the best drink i’ve had in a long time. I also had these steamed layer cake slices that were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend that you stop by and try this place. I will be back!

I’ve been to countless coffee shops in New York, but Lê Phin Organic Café is on another level! Every drink here tastes phenomenal and alive — you can feel how much love and care goes into each cup. We ended up ordering half the menu!!!

Thank God I didnt trust some reviews here for saying the pandan flavor isn’t strong. The pandan latte is from HEAVEN — this is coffee with a gentle hint of pandan, not a sugary dessert. It’s subtle, creamy, and so well-crafted. People expecting a sweet pandan soup are missing the point — this drink shows real skill and restraint.

You can taste that they use all organic ingredients, sourced thoughtfully (they even use Trader Joe’s products for quality). Everything feels fresh, natural, and made with intention.

Yes, prices are a bit higher, but it’s WORTH it — this is a café that truly cares about flavor, health, and community. It’s a local gem that honors Vietnamese coffee culture while staying creative and modern. The space is warm, minimal, and calming — the kind of place you end up staying longer than planned.

If you’re looking for creative drinks and best Vietnamese coffee in NYC, skip the chains and come to Lê Phin. It’s easily one of the most thoughtful and delicious coffee shops in the city.

I was intrigued when stopping by Paris-style cozy Lê Phin Café. Blown away. All ORGANIC cafe and dessert!❤️From the first sip, it’s clear this isn’t just another trendy coffee shop — it’s a place that deeply cares about flavor, balance, and quality. I tried the pandan latte, sesame latte, Vietnamese coffee, and matcha limeade, and every single drink was crafted with precision and big heart.
Surprise yourself with their dessert, the honeycomb and cakes all stole our hearts!

Some reviews here mentioned that the pandan flavor isn’t strong enough, but I completely disagree. Those reviews seem to expect a sugary pandan dessert or sweet soup, not a coffee. The pandan latte at Lê Phin is exactly what it should be — beautifully balanced, with real coffee character and a gentle pandan note that lifts, not overwhelms. It’s refined and sophisticated, not artificial or syrupy which I LOVE. This signature drink definitely made their name in crowded coffee scene in NYC. The owner should be so proud!

My friend’s sesame latte was rich and nutty, the Vietnamese coffee perfectly bold, and the matcha limeade was bright, clean, and refreshing. You can taste how fresh and intentional their ingredients are — everything feels organic, vibrant, and made with care. It’s rare to find a café that’s so devoted to both tradition and innovation at once.

What impressed me most is that Lê Phin uses all ORGANIC ingredients (Im organic obsessed nerd Im happy to pay much more for a lifestyle not just food) — they even source thoughtfully from places like Trader Joe’s for freshness and quality. That level of transparency and effort is rare, and I’m happy to pay a little more for it. You can tell they care deeply about both their customers and their craft.

In a city full of coffee spots that feel rushed or gimmicky, Lê Phin stands out as a true local gem — a quiet, intentional space where every drink is made with love. If you’re looking for coffee with real soul and flavor integrity, you would fall in love with pretty much anything in the menu for sure!

Came in for the first time this Tuesday morning and ordered the seasonal pumpkin latte. It was so delicious! Space is very limited but the vibes were there. I would definitely revisit 🙂

cute shop and unique drinks, my sister and i come here often and have tried the pandan matcha latte, pandan latte, sweet potato latte, and black sesame latte. the black sesame latte is surprisingly the best out of all of these, very nutty and rich. im pretty sure all syrups are made in house. the inside of the cafe is so cute, and the seasonal decoration makes it a standout. the corner nook is the best spot if you can grab it early enough, great place to sketch or read (wifi didn’t work for me when i tried working here). will definitely be a go to coffee shop when im in the area, worth the hype!

edit: wifi works but slow. pandan latte a regular fave!

Le Phin is a hidden gem for anyone curious about Vietnamese coffee culture. I had a great experience trying different styles of Vietnamese coffee—something I didn’t even realize had so much variety until I visited this place.

The shop itself is small and cozy, with just a few seats, creating a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. I tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the Pandan Latte, and both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were smooth and well-balanced—not overly strong—making the drinks feel almost like a dessert.

The barista was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant vibe. If you’re looking to explore Vietnamese coffee beyond the basics, Le Phin is definitely worth a visit.
