We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

Classic light fare & organic breads fill out the menu at this rustic-chic bakery/cafe chain.

It feels like you’re in a little part of France. It’s a little getaway from the busy LA streets. Exceptional service, beautiful atmosphere, food is phenomenal Highly recommend a croissant! Doesn’t matter which kind, they’re all delicious. Beautiful spot, definitely stop in for a little escape.

Everyone was polite and well mannered. I came around 9am for a coffee and croissant. Coffee was bomb…Impressive though.

Decent but not anything special for the price. They have a great outdoor seating area, but the chairs are pretty uncomfortable and it wouldn’t hurt to add some covers. I ordered the bacon and scallion skillet which was small and the eggs were overcooked. I also had the homemade lemonade and iced tea which was pretty good but nothing to come back for. I also had multiple servers but none at the same time. They never came to check on my food and after sitting for awhile after finishing I had to wave someone over for my check.

Restaurant has great seating inside and out. Croissant was delicious and coffee was good. Wish I could have cheered up our waitress, she seemed to be glum and preoccupied. It was not busy.

Great location, fantastic outdoor seating. I’ve been a customer for over a decade to their stores. I love this spot. 3 star right now due to some foul tasting corn chowder. Foul as in possibly expired.

Got a vegan bahn mi sandwich to go and they were super accommodating – substituting nutty lentils with avocado mash. It was delicious! The side salad that comes with is great too! Hope you guys can add more nut free, vegan options in the bakery section 🙂

Food and coffee were just ok. The breakfast sandwich was underwhelming. Perhaps this was just an off day at this location.

It is part of the Metlox Plaza. Seating is decent; outdoors. It is next to the Shade Hotel. The bakery has pastry and bread. The whole wheat sourdough can be pricey. A quarter loaf of bread rings you up at about five dollars; as of May 2021

Lovely place for a light breakfast or lunch. Service is great and they have a few items that I get regular cravings for and keep me coming back. First, their bread basket is a must, I am a huge fan of the hazelnut flute with their chocolate spreads or jams and their bread is always perfect, though it does not keep well and should be eaten that day. Secondly, their tuna, hands down the best tuna ever, I get it on a salad or on their starting with a side of soup, perfection. Prices are high, but I feel the quality is worth it. Worth a stop while in the area.
