This is an amazing restaurant. The staff is so nice I went here for my birthday and they gave me a cupcake on a plate that they had written in chocolate happy birthday. The food is sooooo good. I got the chocolate soup the cupcake they gave me and the homestyle burger.

Hands down one of my favorite places to eat, ever. We’ve eaten here a hundred times, it seems. No complaints; food is absolutely to die for, the service and atmosphere make you feel like you’re in a Michelin restaurant in a city. They have seasonal menus, plus regional menus (like Brittany, Tuscany, etc), so you can truly never eat the same thing twice here.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. From the minute you walk in; efficient, friendly service in a beautiful setting, lovely tables and decor. There was a small bread basket with butter. It was crispy on the edges and soft in the middle and they tasted just like fresh baked bread smells. My daughter and I ordered Truffle Fries and the Onion Flatbread as appetizers. The fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned, the Flatbread was alternately soft and crispy with a heavenly flavor of freshness with a sweet finish. We both had the Smashburger. Good lord! Two patties cooked well with crispy edges, caramelized onions, bacon cooked to the perfect crispness, cheese and burger sauce. Yum! With our burgers I ordered the roasted brussel sprouts with mine. These buttery brussel sprouts literally melted in my mouth. My daughter ordered the Mac and Cheese. I can’t comment on that because she would only share the tiniest little bite with me. For dessert to go my daughter ordered the chocolate soup and I took home chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. Both met our expectations set by the fabulous meal.

I had the pleasure of working at LJC while being a student at Penn College in the Culinary Arts Associates Degree program. It was one of the best experiences of my life. That was in 1999-2000. 23 years, later I still enjoy returning from time to time. The last time I was there was a few years ago on my wedding anniversary. As was in the past, nothing disappoints. From the wait staff to the students/chefs, everything was on point. Hopefully I can make it back again soon.

Had a lovely time. We made a reservation but I dont think it was needed. The waiter was polite and very knowledgable. The kitchen gifted us a salmon with avocado spread. I had Brussels and bacon skewers for appetizer with pork roulade for dinner. My boyfriend loved the vegetarian chili. The chocolate soup was delicious and creative! Love it!

Lovely hotel style environment. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a seafood dinner, and offered 4 shellfish, 3 fish dishes, 2 starches, and 3 vegetables. And the dessert was a table of choices. Of course there were soup, salad, & bread, a comprehensive wine list; and a wonderful appetizer. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. An quite a number of them were the Culinary school students. The food was plentiful and hot, served in a beautiful hotel-style buffet in chafing dishes.
